SWRA in a Grabow Regal prince
Stonehaven in a Stanwell #19
Good morning all and a Happy Birthday to Pipe Wife
Today it is Carter Hall in my quarter bent Peter Kent Prince with coffee on the side. BTW, I discovered that the Peter Kent line is a GBD second. I'm still looking at this pipe trying to determine why it is a second. The finish is smooth with no apparent fills, the grain is ok, but nothing to write home about, and the drilling is spot on. She's a great smoker as well. I bought this pipe and a couple of other PKs in the mid-seventies.
CH +MMcob & coffee =
Haven't been able to go back to sleep, so I'm smoking Sugar Barrel in a 2012 Rekamepip made Sugar Barrel pipe.
Happy birthday to PipeWife!!!! Hope you have a great day!
I remember 40. You have quite aways to go for the use of . Leave those for us OLD codgers LOL.
Nothing but 3P's lately in a variety of pipes. Just now have some smoldering in my Pete Barrel.
Happy Birthday PipeWife! Having some CH in my 007 cob mod with Maxwell House. Personally, I'm 32. Just happen to have 26 years experience at being 32!
Working on my third mug of coffee - I've been saving the Double Dutch Fudge flavored stuff for this morning. We will smoke the 20-30 year old Dark Twist from MikeinMaine this evening ... it's younger than I am!
After my usual morning bowl of C&D Red Odessa (which I do have a bit stocked up, stormy!) it was some Angler's Dream in the personal Rewster-fied cob that he actually put my name on ... it really does say "PipeWife" on the back of the shank. Now smoking H&H Namaste' in the rekamepip fruitwood-carved "cob", although the dog changed his mind about being outside after the third raindrop hit his thick skull. I need to load up the short MM General with some more GH Bob's Chocolate Flake, in the hope I'll have another wonderful experience with it like I did the other evening. It'd always been a pleasant smoke, but the last time I smoked it in this specific pipe, I got wonderful notes of unsweet cocoa - not just the occasional maybe-hint, but actual "Holy it really does have chocolate flavor there!"
Rainy day. Might as well smoke McClelland 5100 all day in a Peterson Emerald 606s.
Stonehaven in the Altinok. Yum.
CH ina 2012 poy cob
Came in late to work today, smoked some GH Brown Flake on the way.
Not feeling the 606/5100 mix today. Charring Cross in a patent era Dunhill Shell billiard. Much better. Easier to clench while finishing up a rewrap job on a friends bamboo flyrod.
Tree Mixture in my Pete. Im glad its the last of this sample I didnt like it much
dang that means i AM OLD
now lets talk vintage and antiques while i smoke this bowl of
CH in Corn
Charring Cross again in a Dunhill. Beethoven on Pandora, rainy day, life is swell.
GH Coniston Cut Plug in the rekamepip fruitwood "cob" ... I intended to take the dog out and about between rain episodes, but my phone started ringing.
Happy Birthday, PipeWife!
I'm smoking some Lancer's Slices in a Castello Old Antiquari 4k this morning...
