Some Sunset Harbor Flake in a very old knock around pipe made of a dubious wood I bought out a 10 dollar bin at the local B&M.

The pipe has been a dog for years and gurgled constantly and smoked so hot you could hardly hold it. I basically use it to "test" suspicious tobacco now a days. After reading a couple of threads about counter sinking the tenon, I went ahead and tried it on this old guinea pig. So far, no gurgling, still hot to the touch though.

Now smoking the current Three Nuns tinned version in a mid-late 1930s straight black grain relief Dunhill OX Shell with a silver band repair. And a bit disappointed that Craig Biggio did not make the Baseball Hall of Fame.

Smoking CH all today in a cob while out and about. Had physical therapy at noon followed by a whole wheat pizza pie with mushrooms and fresh tomatoes and a cold draft beer. One of my stops today was at one of my local B&Ms (discount cig outlet) and I was pleased to see that they had actually organized the place and had a good offering of some who knows what brand pipe and other smoking tobacco. There were no glass pipes to be found LOL. There were quite a few MM cobs and a good variety of Dr. Gs. They had CH, PA, SWR, SWRA, Paladin and Middleton's Cherry blend. There were a few bulks by Lane, Atladis and Mc B. I picked up a couple of ounces of Lane 1Q that I have never tried. I'll remedy that tonight or tomorrow. I asked the sales clerk if they were selling much pipe related items and she assured me that both pipes and pipe tobacco were selling well. That's good to know, but I never see other pipe smokers here in the wild.

I stuffed some Five Brothers into a cob. After about half a bowl, I just wasn't digging it. So, I dumped that bowl, mixed some about 50-50 with Bayou Morning Flake, and filled up the big L'Anatra. Now, this is more like it.
