Watching MLB TV's coverage of the deaths of Stan "The Man" Musial and Earl Weaver. I used to always get a laugh out of Musial when he'd play the harmonica. I don't think I ever saw anyone happier to play that instrument than ol' Stan. And hardly anybody this side of Billy Martin could get mad at an umpire like Earl. One way or another, they entertained us.

I'm entertaining thoughts of lunch, but only after I smoke this bowl of Ancient Edgeworth Ready Rubbed (thanks Flashbush Paul) in an old grain relief, partly smooth full bend "V" shape bowl Ben Wade Prominence freehand with the letter A and the numeral 2 in circles. A great smoke!

I would hang around more but when word of that got out the value of stocks in this place would fall dramatically. Lives ruined, fortunes lost...

First bowl in a while. Peterson's Special Reserve 2011 in BST. Tastes good but weird. Have a new appreciation for how the world looks to a daschund. Flu and measles double whammy the last week and a bit. Too weak to even crawl back up on to bed, so just pulled the blankets down on the floor. Heck of a weight loss program.
