REALLY cold this morning - temp was 18F when we got up, and not expected to get above the freeze point. I wish that was 18C! Started the day off with two rollies, then lit up the cob of GH Ennerdale I loaded yesterday.

at the last pipe club meeting a week ago, I had a bowl each of:
some older three nuns (90s) in a stanwell billiard
GH or SG "something lakeland-flake" in bulk in a BC lovat (probably glengarry or something, bag i got from the B&M back in Oct didn't have writting on it, and i forgot to jot it down)

too cold to smoke outside right now, and i stopped smoking in my garage or my new car on the way to work.

On the walk to work right I loaded up an ugly poker (but great smoker) with some Prince Albert . . . had to dump the bowl a minute later. It tasted just like dirt. I reloaded with some McLelland's (a blend from my local shop) and had a lovely rest of my walk.

Stopped by Menards hardware store on the way home

spent too much money so i punished myself with no pipe smoking for the ride
(only because i forgot to move my pipe bag out of the way before loading the car up with lumber)

honda cars do make great work trucks !

Back in the house after ice removal. Teddi is sleeping on my feet and I am enjoying some Bull Run in my pipe.

If I ate that, I would have a gout attack for a week. However, the CH would give me no problem at all!

Carter Hall in my mod cob and finishing off the last of the coffee pot. It warmed all the way up to 37 degrees! Can't complain, sun is shining.

Now smoking the short MM General full of GH Bob's Chocolate Flake that I also loaded up yesterday ... things didn't taste right to me yesterday, food and drink in particular, so I waited on these hoping it would pass after a night's rest. Thankfully, tastes are back to normal now.

Now it's Old Companion in a slight bend 1984 Stanwell Antique 124 grain etched with a smooth front. And lemonade made by a local company, which my wife brought home for us to try. It's the smoothest lemonade I've ever had. Still prefer Simply Lemonade, but this is pretty good.

Thanks to Flashbush Paul, I'm enjoying year 2000 McClelland Navy Cavendish in a mid-70s slight bend black sandblasted English Rustic 120 billiard. No ketchup!
