Just popped the lid off a tin of FVF that I cellared in September 2012.
It really requires some drying time but I'm not a patient person so I've got some going in a Parker Canadian right away, took a few matches to get going but behaving it self now.
I'm not normally a fan of FVF, it's too mild for me but with some age on it the flavours are amplified. If I had the cash and the patience I'd love to buy in bulk and put it away for 5 years or more, it would become something really awesome :bing:

The Red Kake hit the spot so well last night, I'm giving it a repeat this morning. Red Kake in the Rekamepip Oyster with the bark still on. Chock Full O' Nuts is my coffee. Winter has all but disappeared with a temp of 47*F and a drizzly rain.

Hey, hasn't it been quite a while since we've heard from PipeSimmo?

I haven't been to G-burg in awhile. Im going to be in East Tennessee next weekend. I might have to go up for a little getaway with my oldest (he is 12) and run by there. Winter is my favorite time up there.

Hey all, smoking some University Flake in a Mario Grandi poker. Drinking some sparkling apple & pomegranite juice on the side and watching the rain clouds come in. Perhaps a bbq tonight is in order...Happy smoking everyone.

Popped a tin of OgS that came to me courtesy of my secret Santa. Thanks marker, you can never go wrong with this one. I did a small tsuge bowl on the way back to the office and am in process of DGTing large bowl in Wiley feather freehand for later. Temp is right at 32 with little wind. It feels great following the weather we just had. A little less than an inch of snow fell last night.

Good morning. Slept in a bit too long today.
The ice storm turned out to be a non-event, thankfully. Just rain with temps above freezing.

Starting the day off with some Prince Albert in an MM Washington straight :puffy:
    Coffee of course.
