A few moments away from smoking Count Pulaski in a full bend black pebble finish 2001 Rinaldo Lithos YY8 Titania Silver Line egg. I needed something a little stronger than usual this early to get me going, but not so strong I won't want to. I see the sun came out finally, so I assume Stormy got his bribe money this morning.

I have a 2005 silver ado with the dura ax diesel. The glow plug on the ignition was not enough.

Well I was so cold, I decided to build up some body heat and did a cleanup job on the drifts on the driveway. That seemed to do the trick. Had to dump my coffee as it was starting to freeze and poured a fresh one. Add to that the black stone rekampip rockcob filled with some BLB and everything is right again.

Until my sweat starts to freeze, then I am going inside. Temp has climbed to 5 above while the wind ill remains below, but the sun is shining and everything is a pristine white.

we ran out of coffee so I braved the blizzard outside to buy a tin. I'm inside now and can't believe I was just out in that. The wind is roaring and it's almost a whiteout.

I'm now in the basement with Henry doing a bit of work and reading some old Pipes & Tobacco magazines I had left here at my moms. It's the issue with articles on The Pipe collecting and Disney brand pipes and tobaccos. Great stuff! I dragged out san old box of comics for Henry to read.

And I'm very much enjoying a bowl of McClellan Navy Cavendish in the Pete bulldog with some coffee.

So right now I'm just sitting on the porch smoking some Stonehaven in a Peterson. This Peterson is being sent to the farm a certain pipe salesman in San Francisco this afternoon as part of a trade for a Barling, so I figured I'd give her one more spin. But although I'm sitting on my porch in B'ham right now, just two days ago I was sitting and having some Odyssey in a Dunhill on the Brooklyn Bridge, looking at this:

You can zoom in some on that too. The new iPhone 5s takes some amazing photos for a phone. That one was taken with the panorama feature. Marker asked why that lady had on so many clothes when it was sunny, but that blue sky is deceptive; it was 16˚F, not including wind chill. And that wind coming off New York Harbor and up the East River can be a bitter wind sometimes. She still may be a bit overdressed, though. :D

its crazy here, Eric. I haven't seen a storm like this in ages. I'm in Nova Scotia right now which is more out in the Atlantic so maybe that accounts for it.

Lucky you, snowstorm and all. Nova Scotia is one of my favorite places in the world. Absolutely beautiful there.

Now it's Lord Alfred in the Falconwarden. About one more bowl of this to go and I'll have finished up another baggy. I'm noticing the squirrels are unusually fat and light colored this year - wonder if that means we're in for a harsh January and February.

It really is! I grew up here and miss it every day. Living in Toronto you have to drive for hours to see the woods and in NS its in your backyard, and of course there's nothing like a snowstorm near the ocean.
