One more bowl of Old Companion in the trusty Kaywoodie while out delivering food and driving home...

I'll eat some lunch and do paperwork now. Next up in the smoking lineup is Morley's Best in a rusticated Peterson xl14.

Smoking McC's Bulk #2010, Classic Va in the Squatch Stout Volcano. Collected up the pieces this time and stuffed them in the bowl instead of rubbing the flake out. Smoking real nice.

Belated condolences and wish for your safe travels, Pyratemate.
Happy to hear things are looking up after a scare, Eric.

I'm loading up my last opened (not cellared) 3Ps in my Robinson & Co straight bulldog estate.

Temp is +6F (-6F wind-chill) here now; expected to move to around -20F by Sunday. In fact, here's the alert I just read from NOAA (my emphasis added):

Time to break out the "special reserve fuel" for the pellet stove that heats my back office...

Good morning, Happy New Year, and time to catch up.
Sympathies to you PyrateMate - take care and travel safely.
Eric, glad to hear things are looking up - thoughts are with you and family.
Others, happy birthdays as are appropriate to each.
What was it that Ferris Bueller said, “Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.”
Kinda feels like that to me today.
We are enjoying 60 or so degrees and beautiful blue sky, so will enjoy a Dr G Riviera with some CH.
Have a great day and enjoy all PSFers,
    ~ ZM

Doing various, mundane things and smoking Charlemagne in the third pipe I ever bought ($1.95), a 1974 smooth straight French briar Hadley Apple. Simply Orange is my drink. Going to work in a little while, and I'm happy to get a late start today.

Started the day with Nightcap and uber strong coffee. Looks like it will be a steady diet of NC and 10 russians for the next few days. It could be a lot worse. I've got two ozs of SWR that I've promised a desperate fellow in Australia.

Is there anything special I should know before sending a care package to Australia???

Friday Night means Party Night! So I packed my bag SorringOwl Signature Pouch with the Castello Collection and the Tinsky Bulldog, an extra cob in a pocket, various HU flakes and some Elizabethan Mixture and am heading off to the pub! Have a great evening all, Puff on!

C&D Sweet English in an imaginary spillcob.

44F here with a chance of rain, and very happy I no longer live in Connecticut.

After some post-prandial Revor Plug earlier, I'm now savouring a hearty bowlful of Royal Yacht.
