A remarkably good bowl of Morley's Best in a Grabow Riviera Dublin followed by a bowl of Old Companion in the same pipe while shovelling snow...

I was just reading a fascinating article about blowfish pipes in an Pipes & Tobacco magazine, really interesting history for that shape.

I won't belabor the point of how flipping cold it is. Lol. I figured out how to plug in the heater and got the battery charger (i cant believe i made it 44 years without owning one) going so I will come out at 9:00 to see if it will start.

As for now to celebrate this little feat, I am smoking a bowl of best brown #2 in my savinelli Roma my windows were pretty fogged up, but I could swear I seen a shape approaching my truck. It was my neighbor Amy giving me beer. :)

Her husband joe had a drinking problem and nearly did himself in. Now whenever she has beer she just gives it to me, so as not to tempt him. I'm willing to do my part by drinking it. I'm a good neighbor like that.

Thanks to Eric Pierson, I'm smoking Fox and Hound in a 1975 full bend black Dunhill Shell 52021. Just got off the phone with my buddy at Sutliff, talking tobacco. Thinking about dinner already, now.

Another busy day in tropical paradise. Weent to the Mercardo, one of my favorite places to visit. In the old days it was a market to purchase food stuffs locally grown and sold by local farmers. There is still some of that, but it takes place on the streets outside the Mercado. Everything inside is one gift shop after another. Smoked a pipe of Academy while inside, then went back to the cigar shop on El Conde and purchased a couple of more sticks. I have not smoked this many cigars in a long time.

Tonight we are going out to eat at an Arabic restaurant. Do not know much about Arabic food so I will probably be at a loss on what o order. I will be open to suggestions-

    Mas tardes.

I'm trying C&D Five O' Clock Shadow for the first time in my new Invicta. This is some good stuff. Similar in flavor to Kickin' Chicken, but minus the KC harshness.:bing:

Getting ready to smoke Kickin' Chicken in the rekamepip oyster bark pipe.

Supposed to be a huge snow storm starting tomorrow night and throughout Monday morning that will see us getting over 12 inches and with a temp of -15 fahrenheit, the coldest temps we've had/will have had in 20+ years. Some channels are saying
it's really possible to get 15 inches by Monday afternoon. Gotta go make sure to stock up on a few things tomorrow morning.

    Evening all.
