Grits is good. A little butter, some black pepper and a tiny bit of salt...mm!

Anyway, Jack Knife Ready Rubbed in the Larus Bros. Signature billiard

How is the RR compared to the plug? I've only had the plug and really liked it.

I have only had the RR, never the plug, but I like it a lot. Sweet, but not at all light, never cloying, and with enough smokey Kentucky goodness. Nice blend :)

    Hi John,
I hope your Anniversary/Birthday party went great! I wish you many more Anniversaries and your son many more healthy birthdays!

My Kaywoodie "Dad's pipe is a 55. It is from the late '40's I think. It smokes terrific. A pretty large pipe for a Kaywoodie. A full bent Billiard. I guess my only beef with it is you can't pass a cleaner through it. Not only due to the stinger but the slit on the mouthpiece side is way too narrow to fit even a small pipe cleaner through. So every now and then I run warm water through just the stem and blow it out and let it dry.
I most likely paid more than I should have for it but I really liked it. I think it was about $44.00. But to tell the truth it is one of my favorite pipes now so I guess it was worth it in that sense.

    Paul

Goin' out to the porch to smoke some very old McClelland's #1 in a Davorin Morta Blasted Bent Half Tulip (which actually looks like a Dublin).
It's still steamy hot here. I thought it was supposed to cool off today. I guess it's better than yesterday but...

Dunhill Flake in a "Keegan Cob". This is an old favorite tobacco in a new favorite pipe. :)

It's ok, I'll wait for the morning or if we get a breeze. Since I don't need West Nile virus.
