It a vintage Aristocob (long out of business) no affiliation with the modern Aristocob company, the stem was from another pipe which I modified to fit this one, you would probably have to get one off ebay, the pipes can usually be had for a reasonable price, but the bowl inserts are kinda rare and pricey.

Just had a nice light workout, then a smoothie. Now it's time to rest and recover with a big bowl of Tilbury in the Signature billiard

The recent chatter about McClelland Blackwoods Flake got me in the mood, so Blackwoods Flake in a DrG Grand Duke... what a great smoke! :ohyh:

I have a CG that should be arriving today from Scott at Aristocob. Once I get home and see the pipe, it will be filled with Beck's Ol' Limey Bastard

Preparing my smoke for the ride home. HoC For Meerschaum's Only-Reserve in a Pete Sterling Silver Slightly Bent Prince 406. I love this pipe but I never really took to a 'P' lip. It smokes great though.

Have you tried the Villager Early Day blend? I find it very good, it's remind me a bit of SG Squadron Leader due to it's Incense like quality.

Now that I have broken out my tins of McClelland's Black Label Personal Reserve series Virginias I might as well smoke them in alphabetical order, next up is a bowl of Dark Star in another DrG Grand Duke pipe, and then it will be a bowl of the St. James Woods... McClelland's best of the best, in my opinion. :th1:

I would try a sample of them before I commit. I find them very difficult to work with. I traded all of my Dark Star away, but I'd be happy to send you a sample of Blackwoods.

Southbound, Thanks for the offer, But at this current time...
Thinking I'll just buy the tins.. Since i had only one nasty tobacco blend out of the 50+ tobacco blends i smoked. So the odds are if i buy it, it will grow on me after a few bowls..
