the Prince with just a bit of Blendin' Perique tossed in--an old Medico guardsman straight squat bulldog--

cortezattic tipped me to this little twist a couple years ago--just getting around to trying it--i like PA unadulterated, but just the smallest hint of Perique really livens it up--

I left it alone for months. I went on a big-time English kick for a while, but recently they were leaving me flat. Over the weekend, I sparked up some carter, kinda like a palette cleanser. Been taking at least one bowl daily since.

I'm with you Scottly.. Don't know if it's the weather? But i have been smoking several bowls a day of this tobacco for the last month or so. Think in the Fall i'll make the switch as my briar's and tinned tobacco will come out in full force then.. Maybe if i score some Penzance i'll make the switch sooner.

Now just loaded up some PA in my grandfather's Brigham Sportsman. Seems like he would have enjoyed an old-school toby like this.

Escudo in DGE cob. This works! Blueberries and crushed ice hit the blender and now the glass full is cooling my forehead.
29C(84F) H37%. Nice big TCU all around but none moving towards me to cool things off.

We rope the big ones down here in Texas. Then, we throw 'em on the grill. They taste like chicken.

MacBaren Club Blend in the xxl IMP meerschaum. Baseball cap that has been sitting in ice water making contact with the top of my head. I'm not even going to look at the temps. It's still close to 90F. I'm just going to enjoy this pipe as the remainder of my little grey cells freeze.
If I'm smoking M79 tomorrow morning, you'll all know what happened.

That bowl bit me a little, but that's okay. It's a new pipe, and in my experience they tend to burn a little hot and swampy anyway, and Kendal Dark does have the potential to bite a little as it is. Plus I've smoked more than my share today.

I don't like the fact that the tenon isn't beveled in the draft hole like my other Kapet, but the draw is just great and I have no doubt this will be just as good a smoker as the other Kapet I've got.
