Gently breaking in the new Sea Rock, well that's not true at all really, I jammed it full of Raven's Wing and am smoking the hell out of it.

I haven't smoke my new Aldo Velani yet, but I am more comfortable with your break in method than the "fractions of bowls, fractions of pleasure" method

Good. Just load the thing and enjoy it. It's a new pipe, not a new baby. Any pipe that you can ruin by packing a virgin bowl full and smoking it, well, it deserves to be ruined.

Earlier on I loaded up my clay dog with some Irish Flake for a quick and enjoyable smoke.

Now I'm smoking some GAF topped up with G&H cherry and vanilla in my Wiley

Some of this - "SG Dixie Pride":[IMG]

Burning in this - "Dr. Grabow Bulldog"[IMG]

Washed down with this - "Vintage Green Label Great Value Drinking Water", (a very good year)! :) [IMG]

I prefer the Green Label, (Drinking Water) as compared to the Blue Label, (Distilled Water) because of the more refined taste. :D

How is that Dixie Pride? I've wondered about it for a while!

I remember those trout ! I'm in Fannin County , Ga ... trout capital of Georgia [ so they say ] . Good fishin about a mile from my home . I pretty much suck at trout fishin but get me on a stream in the woods and I'll find a hole and catch some killer pan fish . I like to fish ponds also . I'm a pan fisher I guess .. Brim / bluegill / pearch etc .. I dont do it enough though .

Today was a bowl of MB Latakia in a MM Legend ... so far thats it . It cooled down a bit [ it's 9;30 pm ] so maybe another is in order :th1:

Evening' Folks - giving Best Burley another whirl in a MM Country Gent

EDIT - liking this a lot more this time around. Getting some sweetness and maybe a hint of chocolate. Not sure plain Burleys will ever be an everyday thing for me - I seem to get a bit of a sting from them sometimes - but this is growing on me.
