Ebony, huh? I haven't tried that one yet, but thanks to you I'll get the opportunity! The 9507 made me want to take some of my blending Latakia and have some fun with different mixing ratios.

Probably my last smoke before bed is Great Outdoors in a 1979 no name French briar smooth full bend egg. Ice water chilled to the proper temperature is my drink.

'Tis a sad day in Nashville because I'm smoking my very last bowl of HU Tobacco Dockworker. I send great thanks to PipeSimmo for turning me on to this blend. It has become one of my absolute favorites. It is just sweet and chocolaty enough, and ever so slightly spicy, apparently all due not to flavoring, but to Malawi burley and a bit of oriental and Va. You can bet that when my TAD funds allow it, I'll be stocking up on enough of this to last me a while.

When a guy like YappyG tells me I'm going to love something, I've got to take it seriously. So I've started a bowl of Ebony in my Butz Choquin Maitre Pipier calabash shape pipe. Once again, YAAPG steers me in the right direction. I have to say, these Peretti folks have got the smooth and mild but flavorful thing down! It's an unusual and tasty flavor in this blend. I imagine some would call it "flowery" but to me it's like the sweet incense of the old hippie days in the headshops and boutiques. One great thing about smooth and mild is that you can take a big ol' puff and then just let all the smoke drift out through your nose. Wonderful nose on this tobacco. Thanks, YAPPG!

I KNEW what Ming was doing couldn't be as innocent as it sounded!

So what do you suppose Peterson's 3p actually means?

Good morning everyone! Peterson's Nutty Cut in the 2013 PSF POY Kaywoodie. Coffee black is my drink. I've got to go five hundred miles before I get back here. It's Tuesday. Puff on PSFers!

    Morning all. It's nice
    to sleep in until 6am
    these days! Lol

    Golden Extra in an
    apple bowl. Been on a
    Burley kick as of late.
    May have to start shopping
    around for more blends,
    like Uhles, House of C.,
and so forth. Good thing I
still have plenty of that 7
oz. tin of old ERR left. :ohyh:

I'm finding that in this Florida
    heat and humidity, Burleys
    make for a more pleasant
    smoke during the heat of
    the day. Which means I
    should stock up in prep
    for next summer.

    Now back to my coffee
    & pipe. Have a good
    day gentlemen.

Yeah Snake, the Florida heat and humidity can certainly change your tobacco selection. I smoke more OTC burleys during the summer months and frequently a bowl of McC's Eastern Carolina Ribbon.

This morning it is in the low 70's not very humid and a nice cooling breeze. I decided to load a cob with Plumcake for the ride into work and am having black coffee on the side.

    Good Morning,
This sultry morning I'm starting off with GH Bob's Square Cut in a Sasieni Hiland's Buckingham 59S Pot. At least I think it's a Pot. It's Billiard like looking, although it appears flared a bit, with a very wide chamber.
It is smoking very nice and so far and has been dry and cool. I don't know what has been smoked in it but it seems pretty neutral. Bob's is tasting pretty good in it and I plan on smoking GH blends in it.

    Happy Smoking,
    Paul

80 degrees already on this Tuesday morning. Second day in a row sticking to CH in cobs for my smokes. Air is too heavy for all other blend. Did have some MB Honey and Chocolate last night, but nothing any more aromatic. Only one cup of Russian tea, not a pot full. Also starting in heavy into water as I feel the pain of a gout attack starting.
