along with a pinch of this and that

    an hour later
i ended up with a big mess and 2 pounds of

Daaaaaaamn Simon! Nice work on that 'bash!
Sante, I hope you get to feeling better real soon!
And as for the rest of you, you guys rock! keep up the good work.

So I had a bad tooth fixed yesterday and today I am getting the biggest thrill out of drinking ice cold water! I get ready to wince every time, but it dosn't hurt! Sometime its the little things, ya know. Still no pipes, but I think by tomorrow I should be puffing happily away again.

If this post seemed a little too happy...It's the vicoden.

Back on the Four Squires Flake after tea and hobnobs. Still having fun trying to work out what it tastes of seeing as the packet now smells of bovril and the very mild but nice flavour is beginning to kick in.

It's sort of a meat extract type thing, usually turned into a drink by adding hot water. Kind of a more palatable Marmite.

    Gerr, that um sounds interesting...:shead:
Maybe it is more like Bullion? a cube or powder added to hot water to make a meat flavored sauce or soup?

Yeah, something like that, but it's sold in jars as a paste rather than a solid.

First break and having some Old Companion in the Rusty Rhodes. Called the wife and phone company finished with the line. Now let's see dingleberry run over it with his mower! "Git a hair cut! Dang hippie!"

I hope you feel better soon and the pain doesn't come back. Toothaches are the worst! I can tell you a thing or two about it...Get better, Mark!

I love the POY - what a great pipe. just finished my second bowl out of it, smokes like a dream with a huge draw. And I got very lucky with the blast. Awesome pipe. :ohyh:
Going to watch Dexter now, while smoking a pipe. Same combo as yesterday, but at least I edited the pic. Thanks to The Grand High Malevolence (©dBear) I'm smoking SALAMI in Moretti. :toast: (I also hope you feel better soon Sante!)[IMG]

Nice work Simon, looks better than it did 30 years ago when new, the gourd was almost lemon colored then, enjoy it. Had dome H&C/965 mix in the original MM Diplomat with Wellington Stem and a good friend dropped off 5 lobsters from his boat run so I cooked them up and we had them with drawn butter and baby fingerling potatoes.
Still too hot to do much other than read near a fan.
