Hyde Park in a BST Compact Little Brute. I'm trying not to look at Sasquatch's For Sale postings so that more of you can grab one of these great little tobacco burners, but restraint is becoming difficult. Hyde Park in this pipe with a glass of crushed ice on the side is just about the best way I can think of doing the anger management thing after having to listen to a self important member of the negative IQ squad spout off for the worst part of an hour. 23C(73F)H50%

Starting the day with Maltese Falcon, in a cob, with coffee, just to be different, to confuse my enemies by starting with something other than CH or SWR. They will be sore amazed.:beyes:

After over an hour of family members chew my ear over the phone while most of the world's security services listen in to catch the latest gossip regarding my mother's church, I can finally find a little whisper of world peace at the bottom of a pipeful of Four Squires Flake. And if any of them are reading this, go on, giz a job guv!

    Ladies and gentlemen,
the time has come - the bash is good to go!!!
Thank you oh Grand High Malevolence FnB. What a wonderful gift. Perfectly cleaned and loaded with a flake (St Bernard by DanTobacco) I'm highly enjoying it right now. Considering this is only a "prop for a shakespeare play" it's a damn fine smoker. I'm really glad I am hated this much.
Rest assured - I hate you too! :beck:

I went to one of the offices I haven't been to in about a month today and no one had updated the software on the computer in my office. The computer wasn't working properly anyway so I couldn't get anything done. So I stopped by the shop, came home took a nap, looked at Rekamepip's pics several times, and now I am smoking Penzance in a Comoy naked root bulldog.

Currently working on more Scotch Flake from F&B in the AIC from Rekamepip, and ice tea from BGM, mulling dinner options, cooling off, and need to tidy kitchen some-a lot.
Glad PipeSimmo has a great smoke in his new Bash, and that Meester Feesh will be feeling better after some new juice installation
Happy to see Mr Spill amongst the living still, maybe a bear et him, er raccoon's stole all his supplies and he was too far from civilization to get back.

got some grey havens in today from pacificflows, so of course i loaded a bowl straight from the mailer. pretty much exactly what i wanted it to be; laid back, restful, and easy. not a show stopper, but great to get your head out of work mode. actually fairly well named, based on the books. thanks, sir!

My mixture in the WHC Meer. lined Briar as "yard" pipe most of the day

I normally gravity fill, tamp to 1/2, gravity fill, tamp to 3/4, gravity fill, char light to white ash, then tamp again to still springy.I do this without thinking after so long it's "Zen" But this pipe is different in having a very narrow conical cone to the bottom of the bowl, which easily gets clogged with wet dottle, so I rub the Tobacco into a ball to just fill the top and give it a light tamp to just below the top, then char light and a final light tamp, this leaves an air pocket under the Tobacco which then burns cool and dry to white ash
