After unpacking and admiring my newly arrived fleet of cobs ...

I selected the bent Legend and loaded her up with some lamp-dried CH. 45 minutes of pipe smoking bliss. A perfect smoke in every technical detail.

This pipe weighs only just over an ounce ... 31 gm to be precise. Hangs effortlessly while working at the computer. And once you discard the paper filter, the draw is spectacular: nice and open. I love everything about this pipe. Charred up beautifully even after one smoke.

Having just stirred the spent ashes, I'll let it rest for 15 minutes, empty, run a pipe cleaner through it, and reload. I might do this all damned day.

C&D Rajah's Court, their version of Dunhill Durbar, in a Savinelli Canadian. I put this tobacco up to age five years ago and it is excellent.

Think I'll join you, I forgot I had some very old Durbar that was gifted me. I still have the tin from some Rajah's Court that I got maybe early '70 or so. The tin lid was one of those that slipped off.All I remember from the tobacco was it had some good Macadonian leaf in it.I have not smoked Durbar until 3 or 4 months ago. It's a very nice smooth smokeTo me its melded together nicely and just slightly tangy.
Thanks for reminding me I had it.:toast:

Some Rekamepip's Kansas City Blend in the '13 POY, and a little more DR P in the BGM, unsure on dinner options yet

Big chicken dinner is followed by me smoking Field Master in a 1975 three quarter bend black Dunhill Shell. A bottle of Mountain Dew made with pure cane sugar is my drink. Braves and White Sox are tied 2-2 in the :dkn:, Red Sox lead the Yankees 3-2 in the 7th, Phillies are stomping on the Mets 13-4 in the :dkn:, and the Reds are beating the Pirates 5-3 in the 6th.

As usual, late to the party again. :(
I do have an excuse, a good one if I do say so myself. A week ago last Tuesday (the 9th) I was headed home from work and my trusty 89 Dakota bit the dust. I got t-boned at an intersection and my truck ended up on it's side. The up side is nobody got hurt (not so much as a scratch). Down side, the Dakota was a total loss, not hard to do when the truck is 22 years old. The second up side (which puts me ahead by 1 "up") is that the bank and I now have a 2001 Dakota quad cab.
Now to the subject at hand...Edgeworth RR'd in a GBD poker.

Thank you sir. I have been saving a few "cable guy" barbs for just the right moment but in light of this post I will keep them to myself. ;)

That sounds interesting! I will try this, although I will have to crush my own ice.
