Make sure you smoke it in a large bowl pipe. I was given that advice when I didn't think I liked Irish Oak. Completely changed my mind. Its my regular morning pipe now.

Finished the front lawn before it became intolerable to be outside again, the waving yellow field is now gone(all the buckhorn was so long it was amber waves of weeds), the coffee is gone, on to ice tea.
Started with a bowl of TB Midnight in the POY13, followed immediately by Kansas City Blend in the POY13, and some ice tea.
Might even go to sleep sometime, since I haven't since yesterday:rolleyes:

CH in a mm CG started my morning. Fruit juice on the side, no hot tea again this day. Pipe seemed to work ok, so tried some Irish Oak in a Peterson Sherlock Holmes series pipe. This is going to be a long baseball day, so pipes & blends had better be in good shape! Its been a long, long week with only a few pipes.

Good Morning all. GE in a cob. Pg tips tea. Still humid for a while, so ice cold lemonade to drink also. Always was a two-fisted drinker. Happy weekend. Heat spell is almost over.

Taking a break from making dust - briar roots called this morning and sacrificed themselves to being hacked up and sanded into micro fine particles that float effortlessly into the neighbors yard

by golly i think there is a pipe to be made today

a few puffs of granger in pipe then back at it

Just finished cutting the lawn and am absolutely drenched. Decided to fire up some ERR in a Kaywoodie. Hand Made whilst cooling off with copious amounts of ice water.

What a great way to start the day. Friend dropped by early with a new toy and suggested that I go for a quick ride while it was still cool.
Painter Hills in a BST Compact Little Brute combined with the remaining adrenalin rush is delivering one of those smokes where every detail and nuance of flavour is beautifully heightened. 20C(68F)(293K)H62%

I'm smoking the last of this trade sample of AJ's VaPer in a 1983 three quarter bend medium brown Ascorti KS Business Dublin. Thanks to FishnBanjo for the tobacco. Simply Lemonade is my drink.

Thank you. There's something about adrenalin and nicotine that flicks what's left of my brain in to another gear. Moving at higher speeds changes perspectives, perhaps the wind rush exfoliates some of the dead brain cells and gives those that are still capable of synaptic activity the opportunity to fire as they should.
I'm just grateful that Rich put together Painter Hills because I'm very much enthralled by this tobacco's breadth today.

Edited to translate: Going like a bat out of hell with a nuclear firecracker up it's butt blows the frickin cobwebs out of what's left of my brain.

Hey, quit hassling OC, Lord only knows we could use a rise in the collective IQ around here.:p:

Smoked a bowl of Brown Flake in my new used Upshall, which, since you asked, seems to be a terrific pipe.

Cracked that tin of Germain's Medium Flake earlier than I'd hope due to the vagaries of temptation and now I'm wondering why I didn't give in earlier.
