Last of the McC #24 in from FlatbushPaul in a Guildhall Dublin. It's a great blend; I don't entirely have a handle on it, but if I did, what fun would that be?
I was still wondering why Berg was up so late, but it just occurred to me that he is staying up late to hear more news about the Royal baby.

Last pipe for the day is the MM Diplomat with the blue and white Forever Stem with H&C/965 mix, been a great day here at Station WHY and hope the night DJ's and callers posters keep the home fires burning and make sure JimInks doesn't lose track of his St Bernard, Mr Wooly, the nubiles and most importantly his :dkn:See you in about 3. :D

I was going to smoke #333 in the Tom Howard, but instead went with #500 in the MM Spool cob. My first impression is that YappyG's right about using a cob for this blend. I've got the perique coming out more strongly again on this bowl, the oriental is a bit more separate, and I think I'm tasting the Havana fairly constantly now. Can't wait to see how conditioning this pipe for the blend will affect it.

Heavy lat blends tend to keep wives and skeeters at bay which some say is a good thang!

Evening PSF. Took the day off to unwind after our drive yesterday and also to wait for a replacement of DSL with Cable internet. So far it is a significant improvement.

After smoking a lot of aromatics recently I decided to try something different - trying some Cocktail Hour in my Va dedicated Ferndown ** Bark prince, with silver stem accent by Les Wood. no cocktail to accompany, just Gold Peak Sweet Tea.

Y'all know I have been on a bit of a health kick since Jan. Well, tonight I actually had time to sit down and enjoy a nice bowl of Escudo and some JW Blue. Dang, it's good to be back!

Mets lead the Braves 1-0 in the 8th, Pirates lead the Mets 5-3 in the 7th, Rays lead the BoSox 2-0 in the 8th, and the fading Blue Jays are being beaten 10-2 by the Dodgers in the 6th. Thanks to FishnBanjo, I'm smoking Georgetown Tobacco Reverie in a smooth straight late 1970s Tinderbox Selected Grecian Briar Dublin. A bottle of properly chilled Dad's Root Beer is my drink.

Back on the cobs with some MacB Virginia No.1 in my bent MM Washington, Rob Roy shape. This is the last of a sample I got a while ago. I think'll I'll have to invest in a tin...

I was going to quip about pooping open another tin - but then was stopped in my tracks by those amazing rolls. So I take it all back.

Braves lead the Mets 2-1 in the 9th. I'm smoking St. James Flake in a small slight bend black sandblast 2000 D.R. Ardor Urano Ninfea Fatta A Mano author with a silver spigot military bit. Switching to ice water with well behaved ice bergs for my drink.
