Ate all of the food and all of the company left. I decided not to go to work tomorrow and found out a couple of friends were leaving at 8 in the morning for a bikepacking trip. I decided to go with them, so now I am packing at the last minute. Going through gear while smoking penzance in a Comoy naked root bulldog.

I smoked so many pipes today that my tounge feels swollen a bit. It was a great day.

Some really good food at Lucky Duck's place, and the a fireworks show at Randy's (Jedi's Dad). The fireworks show was from Randy's neighbor. His 7 yr old daughter has her birthday ttoday. He has always told her that all the fireworks on the 4th are for her birthday and tonight he shot off $2000 of big suckers for her (and the rest of the neighborhood).

Tried one new blend today, SpecialCurly...It reminded me a lot of Strang, but pre sliced. Very, very good tobacco.

Try adding some perique to it. It's even better that way!

Cards and Angels are tied 5-5 in the 9th. I'm working and listening to a Jack Benny marathon on the XM. And, thanks to Fishnbanjo, I'm smoking Davidoff Flake Medallions in a 1998 smooth three quarter bend Peterson Limerick 69. Great stuff! I've enough for one more bowl. Ice water properly chilled to the specifications of yours truly is my drink.

Earlier today I had Steven Books Canadian Maple in a GBD New Standard Billiard, then it was Kendal #7 in a Sav Roma Billiard, then it was Bob's Square Cut in a Seville Champagne Billiard. Now it's back to Steven Books. This time it's his First Pipe in a Sav Opera Billiard with ice tea.

    Happy 4th and Happy Smoking,
    Paul
