Still working, still drinking ice tea, still listening the Red Sox-Mariners game, and still smoking. This time, I pulled out of the drawer a seldom used pipe. It's not a great smoker, but not the worst I've had, but what can you expect for $9.95 in 1979? I needed a second pipe for this blend so the other pipe can have a rest. Great Outdoors in a 1979 no name smooth full bend egg.

Hey, it hasn't rained since 5 a.m.! Guess Stormy took some pity on us after all!

Very interesting. I heard Thucydides' name come up during a debate between Grayling and Hitchens on the Allied bombings. It would be good to get some background on this famous historian.

So, later on, I'll load up some MB Virginia Flake in a DH and tune into the program you referenced. Thanks for the link!

Mets and Giants are tied 3-3 in the 11th inning. I've switched my drink of choice to ice water. A little more work to do still, and I'm doing it with Angler's Dream in a 1978 smooth pointy bottom three quarter bend Sir Brent, shaped like a check mark.

My final smoke before bed is Onyx in a 1949 medium bend Dunhill Shell. I smoked three bowls of English blends today, which is rare for me. But what I smoked was all good. Going to read a few box scores now. See you folks later on this day.

High humidity at 92%, we closed the house up last night so the indoor humidity is at 60%. Levi had breakfast and ablutions and has gone back to bed. I'm on my second PRM of Khave, strong and black, had the little straight walled MM Diplomat with the blue and white Forever Stem filled with Carey's Bruno Special Mix, a nice small smoke. Will decide on a more mature portion shortly, good morning PSFer's.

started the morning with Gawith and Hoggarth's Black Cherry and Cherry and Vanilla mix in a Rekamepip Black Stone Cob
watered the Plantation and came on PSF to finish it off
    [IMG]
I'd no sooner hung the back garden top shed colouring leaves out
    [IMG]
when :blah: Mrs Wicker wanted her washing line back, so I strung a line in the "Tobacco Barn" and hung them in there -
    perfect 71% Humidity at 79* F :) with nothing running !
thats a terracotta plant pot with a tea towel pulled through the drainage hole in a bowl of water,
I don't know wether to line the Barn with plastic sheet or not ? I'll see how it gets on and a roll of leaves in between kitchen roll as another experiment in a yellow Frisbee

Yawn! Got an hour to kill 'til breakfast is served--perhaps it's time for a walk around the block with the POY stoked up with CH. Didn't sleep all that well, dorm beds aren't terribly comfortable--at least it wasn't too hot. Have a great day, all.

Had a phenomenal smoke of Dunhill Deluxe Navy Rolls in the Jack Howell Dublin, on of those pipes you wish didn't end, on to PRM #4 of Khave, strong and black. Drying up some Mac Baren Navy Flake from 1978 thanks to FlatbushPaul and am contemplating either the Maigurs Knets Calabash or the Werner Mummert UFO.

Kendal American Black and Brown:puffy: Pretty much my favourite baccy of all time; cool, sweet, stays alight with the faintest puff, and wouldn't know tongue bite if you slapped it round the face with it :D
