I found 1792 had a really weird smell fresh out of the tin. Couldn't smoke it. Separated the flakes and left them in a jar with a good amount of air for a week and then it was smokable. Usually combine it with something else like 3P.

Beautiful calm morning for a walk with a Button Bay loaded Peterson 80s. Park was mowed yesterday and with the morning dew and no people the walk went on longer than usual. Now LEO in a BST Canadian with 454 Horse Power coffee is getting the brain ready to work.

Good morning everybody! One more day added to my extremely long weekend, because its raining. I think this will be the last for awhile though.

IMHO it's a raw, harsh, gamey smelling nic bomb. In other words: it's great!

Don't be put off by the initial tin note. It smelled much worse before they added the tonquin. Once you get it burning, the flavor turns out to be very satisfying. Just don't expect to win friends within smelling distance.

    OGS in a Sav 122 ...

    Morning, fellows.

I've had two cobs full of Bayou Morning so far. This blend just works for me in this sultry summer heat.

Back home and fed Suzy and Molly, who were both waiting at the back door for us. They don't like it much when we leave. M'lady is fixing an early lunch, and while I'm waiting, I'm smoking AJ's VaPer (thanks FishnBanjo) in a 2002 smooth Rinaldo Silver Line 3 EGER 05 paneled horn. A glass of properly chilled Simply Lemonade is my drink. I'm listening to the MLB talk on the XM (big surprise, huh?), and the discussion is mainly about the possible upcoming ban on steroid users. Maybe they'll finally get Ryan Braun for cheating?

Getting ready to watch the Braves-Marlins game with a bowl of Dunhill Elizabethan Match in a smooth 1977 Medley (GBD second) medium bend billiard with a flat underside. More lemonade to drink.

Actually, edit: The mail man came just as I was about to load the SWR up...he brought a trade I was expecting. So instead, I am enjoying some Peretti's Park Square in a Grabow Grand Duke...

Enjoying a post-work snifter of Capstan while listening to some Fairport Convention. Great way of de-stressing.

Iced coffee, University Flake in a Peterson Dracula 69. Nice and sunny on the deck and enough of a breeze to keep the vampire bugs at bay. 26C(79F)H42%

Marlins lead the Braves 4-1 after 3 innings. Thanks to PipeSimmo, I'm smoking HU Oriental Sunrise in a very ugly reddish color 1980 medium bend Lorenzo Leganza Sigma 8635 etched rough top. A bottle of Sprite is my drink.

I don't know if I should do this - I mean Motzek #93 is even more bland than Ascanian#2. :beck:

    Hello all,
my first smoke today is a tasty bowl of HU Makhuwa remnants in a Peterson Aran B7, which looks really nice in the evening sun! :)
