Smoking a cigar leaf blend from Peretti called #500, in the Medico Apple. It's not bad at all, I can even taste the cigar leaf. Not had a lot of experience with cigar leaf blends but this is good. Mild cigar, but nice. Pg tips in the mug. Rain again and thunder and lightning this time. Lost power already, hope not anymore. Colled down some which is nice.

Marlins still lead the Braves at 4-2 in the 7th. I'm smoking Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 1982 black sandblasted paneled slight bend Savinelli flat bottom sitter. Ice tea with nice li'l floaty ice bergs is my drink.

Why can't great teams beat the Marlins? I'm planning on watching the Phils beat the Nats again tonight while smoking Blue Note, then MB Honey & Chocolate.

Had two bowls of CH in the POY during the drive home. Finally home, relaxed, a bowl of Plum Cake burning in the little meer apple and a whiskey sour on the rocks--life is good. Now off to the 'Bay to look at pipes I shouldn't buy (I have my eye on an L.L. Bean pipe, which I think would be cool, living in Maine and all).

Now, it's time for the other Edward G. Thanks to FishnBanjo, I'm smoking HU Edward G. in a 1982 smooth medium bend straight grain Ben Wade Martinique freehand sitter with a wide top. A bottle of Mountain Dew is my drink as I work and listen to Lum and Abner on the XM.
