Last smoke before bed is Virginia Spice in a 2013 straight 5th Avenue DGE Nose warmer cob. Later today, more work, more baseball, more tobacco to smoke. Sounds good to me!

Probably my last bowl tonight will be French Quarter in a 1985 Peterson 120, straight, smooth, banded, billiard, and ice tea

Lazy Mary you better get up, we need the sheets for the table. Lazy Mary you better get up, she says to me "I am not able". Oops sorry Lou Monte was singing in my head. Tried 2 pipes which would not burn right and finally got some Fire Fly Blend burning well in the Charlie Brown Cob, 2nd PRM of Khave, strong and black. While the punster's are readying themselves for bed and properly chilled water takes a nap I will be up and at 'em sipping on freshly ground and brewed coffee, myeah! Take that yah mugs. Good morning PSFer's............

While I was out in the back yard smoking with Charlie Brown and sipping Khave I heard a Lobster boat roaring its way to sea, the fog is so dense I couldn't tell if I had smoke coming out of the pipe, why they insist going out on a day so poor in visibility is beyond me and no wonder we lose a few each season and these folks are well seasoned not new to the business. Good morning, or is it good night for you?

The Lobsters have to sneak back out to sea under the cover of fog.
Best way is to keep a dish of hot butter out on the front step, they will crawl up to it and you can grab them.
Six of one/Half dozen of the other on morning or evening for me

Me I'm off in the Crosstour once I finish this Naked Anni in the original MM Diplomat with Wellington Forever Stem to listen to a few tunes whilst drinking PRM #3 and heading to the restaurant, Droid RAZR in hand. Tally Ho.....

Tonight's smoke was the maiden voyage for the pipe in the forefront, an unassuming estate pipe marked only "Algerian Briar". Loaded with an eclectic blend of tobaccos from my remnants jar, it proved to be an excellent smoker...it does make a lovely companion to the Irish Seconds Rhodesian up top, no?

Incidentally, Prince Albert is indeed in this can. It does not smell like today's PA. I'm too chicken to load some up.

Little Bruno was ready for his 2 am feed, so I rustled up some 70's era Mac Baren's Mixture ...

Wow, this stuff has darkened quite a bit ...

    [IMG][IMG]

Bruno seems to like it ...

Fortunately this vintage batch cost no more than the new stuff. It's a fine smoke, but frankly I prefer the fresh. The tobaccos in the vintage version have melded so perfectly that there's only a single--although highly delicious--flavor during the entire smoke. Very unusual for Mixture, where typically no two puffs are exactly the same.

And Bruno didn't gurgle once during the entire feeding. He's a good boy.
