The past few days I've been smoking a lot of different tobaccos out of several pipes, but mostly stuff from the taste test from the other forum, Trout Stream, PA or CH.

Right now I was in the mood for something different and loaded up my 2010 Kaywoodie POY Zulu with a flake of Stonehaven I've had jarred for about 2 years or maybe a little longer.

Good evening. Esoterica Tilbury in a Dunhill Shell LBS. Can't decide about this one. Sometimes it's really good and sometimes it's just so-so. Right now it's kind of somewhere in between. Certainly worth smoking though, and this pipe makes everything better.

While I'm waiting on dinner, I'm smoking St. James Flake in a small slight bend black sandblast 2000 D.R. Ardor Urano Ninfea Fatta A Mano author with a silver spigot military bit. Pirates and Mets game has just started, White Sox just took a 5-3 lead over the Phillies in the 11th.

The Kickin' Chicken finally burned up, and the whiskey is done. Have fired up a flake of Old Dark Fired in the little apple meer. I'm kinda fading, so this is likely the last bowl for the day.

First Smoke of the Day Reserve, Steven Books courtesy of Flatbush Paul in the Meer SMS Lattice Billiard. Sitting on the front porch as usual, drinking sweet tea, you Northerners wouldn't understand.

    dBear,
Do yourself a favor and buy a copy of Windows 7 and set it up for dual boot, you can keep the Windows 7 side for your serious work and the Windows 8 side for learning it if you want. I was a BETA tester for Windows 7 and when Windows 8 was to be BETA tested the first few testers I know, and respect, were turned off completely. Windows 8 is really made for touch screen apps and not a PC friendly environment as it is really suited to tablet and laptop touchscreen users. Windows 7 is by far the better choice.

Last smoke of the night was going to be Nightcap but then I saw if I did that there would not be enough left for another bowl so I dragged a little Honey & Chocolate into it for a 2 bowl mix and smoked one in the MM Mizzou with the plum Forever Stem, it was sheer bliss and a combination I will revisit again in the future. Thanks to MDaws79 for turning me on to H&C, can't see it as a daily smoke on its own but with Latakia that's a whole different story. Keep the night fires burning in those pipes and see you all in 3 or so..............
