Odd, that. I had the thought out of the blue last night that I should revisit my copy of Dear Theo.

Essence of Vermont in a Peterson Canadian. Nice gentle rain this morning.

Wasn't a bad combination in contrast with the absinthe. Not something I'd repeat as a normal smoke. Half a litre of absinthe would have me non-functional, 2 litres would bring forward the expiry date on my birth certificate.

Drank gobs of that stuff when in Czech many years ago (when still "illegal" in the states). Nasty, vile, flaming green licorice, coupled with and intense surge in energy, the illusion of profound intelligence, complete loss of your damned mind, and sudden stupendous drunkenness (in that order). Paging Mr. VanGough.... Btw, I quit drinking ;-)

The Swiss distilled product isn't that much different, perfect state of mind to be in when watching Alien vs Predator. Too bad that Alien vs Hippo vs Predator was never produced, although the poster is amusing.

I am down to the end of my Dunhill Flake tin. It was the first and only DF I've had. There was more than a bowl full for my Neerup, and I'm at home, so broke out my huge Wiley Freehand, which is usually reserved for my beloved HV only. The big Wiley took the last 2 flakes with ease, and I'm enjoying it's smooth draw and the nice taste of my last DF. :bing:

Afternoon All. Boswells Chocolate Cream in the cherrywood. Boswell's were some of the first aromatics I bought when I started back with a pipe almost a year ago. Initially I liked the lack of tongue bite and how mild they were but found them a little flavorless sometimes. Turns out it was user error - I was smoking too hot. Now with a much slower pace there is much better flavor and aroma. Hmm - the things we learn.

    Good Afternoon,

Smoked cheap cigars while mowing the lawn this afternoon, now that I'm done, I'm having a bowl of Astley's 44 in a Dunhill. And Blue Light. Lots of Blue Light.
