Whittling away at a crazy mix of H&H, Kentucky Club Mild, and PA in an MM Washington.
Oh, I was here, but after about seven errors in a row I said to hell with it. It was Haddock in a Squatch.
Essence of Vermont in a MM Legend. +9C(49F) Coffee in hand, and not a mosquitoe to be found.
Red Rapparee in a Danske Club. No mosquitoes here too.
Coffee, Carter Hall, Cob.
Guess it's time to hit some samples today.. Starting with S.G. Squadron Leader in a Dr. G Savoy.
SL in my Ardor bent apple. Good day everyone.
What happend to the SWR, Cob and coffee? I thought SWR was your fav with coffee? I DTGed the Berry Cobbler as it really wasn't a morning smoke, and loaded another cob with CH. Much better.
PA in a peter klein bent brandy.
Just finished a bowl of my own version of Black and Burley (35% SWR, 35% BRG Mixture, and 30% Lane black cavendish) in a bent apple. Now it's about to be a two flake bowl of Condor with coffee and snuff on the side.
SWR is still a favorite but in a briar! It's the only OTC Burley I like in a briar, just in the mood for some Carter Hall and a cob!
I prefer SWR in a briar over cob as well.
Sat in the 'shop taking a break from tidying the garden with McQuaid Plug in a Captain Fortune Billiard.
Off today........Holger Danske Daily in a cob.
I will give it a try in a cob and see if it is better for me. When I bought SWR it was pretty dry so I rehydrated it and have only been smoking it in the cob. I like CH better in a cob than SWR.
I am smoking a Bard Smokemmaster 300 with a bowl of Carter Hall. Yum!
Was out cutting the grass and decided to have some Larry's blend in a Dr.g Duke that i purchased a few weeks back. All i can say is Omg!! As i thought i put in a different sample from someone else as this blend is just amazing... Looks like i'll be buying more of this blend.
I was given a tin of McCranie's 1983'Red Ribbon by Andy Lowry. I just finished of my last rotation of open toby, and decided to put the RR in the new line up. Smoking my first bowl now, and so far it is really nice.
In the tin, it smells like a softer, well aged version of McClelland Blackwoods Flake & in ribbon form.
Back to back bowls. Dark Fake unscented and 1792 Flake.
Last night I sat out on the patio with my wife and tried out a new blend carried at my B&M called Mint Julep. Apparently, it is a Virginia blend that gets its name because it was grown in the same fields that was used to grow mint. It ended up being pretty unremarkable. Anyway, it was very wet and left my Big Ben sounding like a water pipe about halfway through. I’ll have to remember to dry this one out next time.
