    Prairie Wind in a Peterson Canadian. Warming up nicely today 19c(66F). Had a good long walk and now just sitting here enjoying this pipe.

    This morning was SWR, cob, coffee. Haven't smoked since, but am looking forward to Pipers Pleasure tonight in a Sav. Gave a friend a cob and a pouch of CH yesterday. He is looking forward to his first smoke from a pipe.

    Indeed. The best and worst drinkers! Yeah, the queen takes REALLY good care of her sailors. They used to be he terrors of the 7 seas, but carpeted berthing spaces? A carpeted mess decks on a trafalgar class submarine? The submariners get put up in hotels during liberty ports instead of sleeping on the boat?!? If WE wanted a hotel on off duty days, it was out of our own pocket. & they get 3 beers a day underweigh!??!? COME ON!!!! Yep. The US Navy is where the real men are. Clean shaven & running on coffee that may as well be battery acid. Traditional maneuvering watch meal was taco salad because it was always greasy, colorful, & chunky coming back up. That was the mess cook chief's idea of a joke! We're not allowed to drink in uniform anymore.

    Navy cooks are cool. But they're dirtbags, lol. Wife, 4 kids w. one on the way & a few sweethearts in a few ports. Always standing around doin nothing. I was on a sub though. They were kewl. But I wouldn't let my daughter marry one, LOL!!!
