Peterson Gold Blend in Peterson 80S. 18C(64F) h94%. Great Blue Heron standing in the shallows 20 metres away. He eyes me every time I move but then goes back to his morning breakfast.

Good Morning.. Some Mac Baren Dark Twist Roll Cake in a no name bent rhodesian...it's stamped London Briar..that's all I can see. It's one of my Uncle's old pipes. First smoke in it since I cleaned it up a bit.
Oh yea, regular ol' java on the side...

    Good Morning PSF,

On a day that I was suppose to have off, I am reviewing some pricing per the bosses request (gotta love corporate America), with CH, Cob and black Maxwell House...

I usually start the day off with SWR in a cob as I keep a jar of the toby on the kitchen counter where I sit, smoke and have my 1st cop of joe. I finish the pipe on my ride in and then it is CH in another cob at work.

    Hi Jon,
I just posted a thread on my own thoughts/reviews of the two I bought. I loved them both and will buy more. But I gotta save up first!

1792 Flake in a Grabow "freehand" Cafe Bustello w/ a splash of Sailor Jerry on the side. The 1792 is kickin my butt! It's a DGT from last night and I've already had to put it down once since lighting it this morning. Tasty stuff though!

Artistik, may i ask why the start of SWR first, then the switch over with CH?
I'll give this a try tomorrow since you veteran guys sure know your tobacco & cobs.. As myself, i'm still wet behind the ears with tobacco & cobs, but i'm learning each day from ya all.:sh:

MadMan, I really only know SWR and CH. Still have to try PA which is the only other OTC (other than Captain Black that I do not like) available here (well maybe some Half and Half is here). Want to try Granger, SWRA, and others, but will have to order online. No real reason for the change over. I like SWR and CH almost equally. I keep CH in the poch at work because it doesn't dry out as fast as SWR in the pouch.
