Power just came back on. Had CH in a Modcob without my morning coffee. Aint gonna complain, the storm last night was a bit bigger than we first heard. Trees seem to have caught most of the havoc. It's about a 10 mile drive from work to home, and passed 4 sections of highway that had tree's cut up on the side of the road and wood chips all over the pavement. So this morning has been spent with CH in deep thought about counting ones blessing. Time to get ready for work, and one more bowl of Carter Hall!

Walkabout went well, finished half a bowl (Delayed Tobacco Gratification dammit!) of Dunbar in the Charlie Brown Cob and Naked Anni in the MM Diplomat. Now with a large china mug of Jamaican Blue
Mountain I got the Kamado Joe under control, i.e. temp is where I want it and stable, and there's going to be some Kickin' Chicken for later but to eat as it will already be smoked. ;) Riccardo Santia Cob with the bamboo shank is loaded with Dunbar. :whis:

Good afternoon. Special Latakia Flake in a Neerup, with some sweet tea.

The weather cooled off significantly here, so we get a nice day or two of sub-90˚ temps. Reading Ian McEwan before I head out. Going to a doctor's appointment, then to the pipe shop to get a few things, and then to get a new pair of shoes. Highly productive today. :)

Company left, and another buddy's coming over so we can go watch the new Star Trek movie. Sure wish I could smoke in the theater. In the meantime, I'm half way through a bowl of Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 1980s smooth slight bend Wally Frank Dublin. A can of Mountain Dew is my drink.

It's Friday Playaz! Burning some Dunhill Flake in a Moretti. Porchin' it for a while. Gonna crack a new tin of Illy and bust out the Moka pot or maybe the Press. I need a kicker.

You would just spill hot coals on yourself when you stand up and scream at the movie:p:

Started off with Red Kake in the Squatch volcano. Now it's Larry's Blend in the PSF Pipe Of the Year. Next I'll have to buckle down and do some work.

This is one these days, on which I can't decide what to smoke. Should I open another tin? I've got some SG St James Flake I've never tried and am tempted to finally crack it open. But that would mean I will smoke my next pipe in about 2 weeks as moist as it is. I guess I will just try to create a new mix, Anni Kake involved. Another option is to...HA - now i know: Meerschaum, I will smoke a bowl of HU Tobaccos Edward G blend with a topping of Anni Kake in the Sevket Gezer. :thu2:
