No, you are not that far behind. Remember, P&C has been slow to get restocked or whatever and we have had to explore other venders. Tried some McClelland 5110 which was said to be the original Frog. I'm not sure about that, not having tried the tinned. I still like FMOTT better than any of the other ones. Last month had a tin of AtP and Cellar. Didn't really care much for either one. I purchased several blends and got some samples of other Peretti blends, because of the reputation they have for outstanding tobacco. It's all true, IMHO there blends are great. Royal and Oriental #40 are the two very best favorites. I love there Omega, Tashkent, Cambridge Flake, Park Square, Cuban Mixture and 1072. I also got some bulk GE from smokingpipes that P&C didn't have in stock. Royal fills that tobacco taste I remember from long ago. It may not be all that accurate but who cares. The Oriental 40 is just sublime smoking pleasure.

Good morning once again once again PSFers! For my current smoke, I've engaged a bowl of PS LTF in my MM CG with a forever stem. Complimentary coffee from Mantia Fruit to drink. One more pick-up, then it's back to the warehouse. Happy smoking!

Walkabout went well although we did not beat the heat, Levi said enough when he went to the trunk of the SL500 where he gets his bowl(s) of water. The Tsuge Tankard was filled with Hal O'Wynd and went well although with the humidity it did not smoke near as clean as would be expected, got two bowls of Naked Anni in earlier and those were great. What is probably the last Nordic Walking Class for the year in a bit, have to miss the next one due to an appointment.

Next up, if I can carve out the time, Peterson Connoisseurs Choice in a Peterson Lestrade ...

In light of the rave reviews on CC, I'm expecting to have my metaphorical socks blown off. Metaphorical because we rarely put on socks here in Tucson.

Regarding my previous smoke, the Savinelli Toscana 122 (aka Honoria) already has the beginnings of a nice even cake after just two smokes. Not a single drop of condensation. Not a single sour note. Just cool delicious fragrant smoke.

Does Savinelli oil-cure their briar? My last two Savs have equaled Dunhill in the quality of the initial smoke. It's hard to imagine getting a better smoke than this for the price. After just a dozen bowls, my Sav 316 has now edged out the DH DR** as the best smoker in my collection. Not bad, given that the difference in price is two orders of magnitude.

I started on Smoke-Kings new steeplechase mixture and have moved onto W.O. Larsens select blend no. 32 all in my Kaywoodie POY.
I'm planning on keeping this pipe (or another of it gurgles) lit as much of today as I can since it's my birthday.

Vodka and coke on the side.

Tried my first aromatic last night. Sutliff Molto Dolce , it had a great smell and was a very smooth smoke.
