SWRA in a Lark with some iced tea for last bowl of the evening.
Is this a BST? or?
Some Davidoff Flake Medallions in MM 5th Avenue
Omega in a cob.
Holy cow, thank you so much for this post! I used to drink Stewart's Coffee when I lived in Asheville, but the grocery stores here in Birmingham don't seem to carry it, and I couldn't remember the name. All I could remember was the tartan on the label. Hell yeah, now I remember it and can get my local grocery store to stock it, hopefully. Thanks again, great stuff! Probably my favorite low-cost coffee out there. And by the way, if you ever want to get some really great high-dollar coffee, give Raven's Brew a try. All their stuff is good.
Uh, so I'm not smoking a pipe at the moment. Smoking a Tatuaje cigar. It's pretty damned tasty.
I missed out on getting Stonehaven twice tonight while I was in the middle of the check out. Guess it wasn't my night. Oh well. Now, I'm smoking the last of the trade sample I got from Highstump, which is 2008 Edgeworth Ready Rubbed in a very much appreciated 1979 brown, slight bend grain etched flat front Stanwell Rego 969-48 (09). Phillies and Padres are 5-5 in the 8th, and the Dodgers lead the Giants 4-2 in the 8th.
Have to spell out the acronyms for the n00b here. BST?
Briar, Sweat, and Tears. Those are the pipes made by Sasquatch, who is a member here. And they are possibly the best smoking pipes out there. Or at least, they're the best I've ever smoked, judging by the one I own. They out-smoke a lot of big name, high cost brands.
BST = Briar, Sweat and Tears, the name for Sasquatch's pipe company. Often we call a pipe of his a Squatch.
Speaking of which... I'm smoking Penzance (thanks, RickPal!!) in my Squatch volcano. Yeah, I see why people like this blend so much.
Ah, I'll have to file that away with the other one I recently learned. GAF or something like that.
Nope, that it my Stanwell 179. Pretty much sums up my taste in looks of pipes. Classic shape, smooth texture, excellent color with the red/cherry/mahogany.
Alright, now I'll have a pipe. Penzance in a Neerup, with ice water and James Joyce on the side.
Gorilla Ass Flake? That one baffled me for a long time! I still haven't looked up the whole history of that appellation. And let me compliment you on your taste in pipes. That one's a sleek beauty.
God Awful Flake?
Greasy,Aromatic and Foul?
Superior round slices in an old amphora bent stack.

How fortunate for me, I go out on the porch to sit down with my MM Washington cob & some G.L. Pease Key Largo & a glass of tea & the bright moon gets blown over with clouds, the thundering & lightning starts, the rain comes down & the first thought I had was "got out here just in time~!!!" ~ Lovely night, considerably cool seeing as how it's late June in South Carolina.......been a VERY mild season so far......
Still working, still listening to MLB talk on the XM, and smoking Best Brown #2 in a 2013 bent MM Missouri Pride Legend. Ice water chilled to the proper temperature is my drink.
My last smoke before bed is Rekamepip's "Sinphony" Mix in a smooth three quarter bend 1979 made in Israel pipe. Nice cinnamon taste to end the smoking day. Still have ice water for my drink and am listening to NY1 News.
Caught up, had the 1/2 bowl left from last night of Naked Anni in the Mizzou with the plum Forever Stem, French Press loaded minus 1 cup and headed for cup #2 after 1/2 bowl of 965 Mixture in the MM Diplomat, good morning PSFer's back to reading Wonderland..........
Hmm, a quick look into my Crystal Ball shows at least 4 people will receive some HATE by the weeks end and maybe 5 if they are lucky.
