    Good afternoon friends!

This job we are on now, I think I have mentioned it, just got a deadline. We now have to be done by Tuesday. (so the homeowner can have a party) When it is this hot, a roofer can usually count on going home early, but instead we are now pulling extra hours. I am beat and sun burned and cut up and tired and I feel like I only get to see Jedi long enough to say goodnight.

    Okay enough whining.

Going to go out and have a bowl of CH in the POY as soon as the sun sets! It's gonna be great and I can hardly wait! But I will wait, because it is brutally hot out there.

Go near the nubiles and he's liable to cool you off with a bullet. The St. Bernard may be digging a hole for you!

Smoking a rare bird, Kingfisher, in a Peterson. Thanks to Nesta for the sample; it's very generous indeed to give away samples of leaf this rare.

Really great stuff, tons of nuances, as one would expect in 12-year-old tobacco. Just fantastic, glad I got a chance to try it.

Having some Dockworker (thanks, PipeSimmo!) in the Squatch volcano. But it looks like the rest of the night is going to be devoted to slimming down my remnants pouch by several bowls.

I can't seem to get my head around this TAD thing. I got some MacBaron Va #1 in a trade with Snake ( thanks again) I had tried the once years ago and knew it was pretty good,so about half way through the sample I'm thinking I need more of this....so I order a half pound from W Va smokeshop and it arrived today, so I fill a bowl and start jarring it up....half way through the bole I'm thinking " man this is good I need to get some more of this"

As near as I can figure buying tobacco has no affect on the compulsion to buy more tobacco. It's just not fair, Heck even junkies get a few minutes peace after a score. ;)

Va # 1 in a meerlined poker...I need to order more of this....starting early on the evening coffee.

Now another one I've never tried, also thanks to Nesta: some Kickin' Chicken in the Squatch. They didn't skimp on the Perique in this one, that's for sure. This is second C&D blend I've had that I like, along with Pirate Kake. This is great stuff; it's too bad you can't buy it.

Need to chill after a 2hour bumper to bumper commute home.(Usually 1 hour)
Storms knocked out traffic lights, caused floods, etc.

I swear, you can't trust anybody not to blow up your mailbox with a Hate Smoke Bomb!!!! Geebus, that Banjo is one slick charictor and a heck of a good guy. Came home a while ago and my mail box was in bits all over the porch. The baggies of tobacco fortunately were still intact. What can I say? Gonna salute this man with a big bowl of Crown Achievement, not sure who made this but smells great and like me, its old. Thanks again Banjo.
