The 68 Shellby.
Smoking some Ol Limey Bastard in the Invicta Bulldog.
I have really liked it. Needs some prep but the VaBur sweetness is great.
Thanks for the recommendation! We love the Campion series: excellent productions. And I agree with you on the Petherbridge version ... he just didn't have the same fire as Carmichael. And yet ALL our friends think we're nuts: they see the earlier version as too dated.
If you haven't seen The Sandbaggers (starring Roy Marsden), it's definitely worth the trip. Highly, highly recommended. We watch all 3 series at least once a year.
Nutty Cut in a Peterson Lestrade ...
Ah the house is quiet and everyone is asleep
Time to relax and enjoy the quiet and peace.
Or get even and make some rock dust and noise
Loading up some SG Chocolate Flake in the SMS smooth baby meer (one knuckle's worth of my pinky finger) with not a lot of room left over with 1/2 of a Flake in the bowl..
Exotique in a Savinelli Capri Root Briar 512. Every smoke of this stuff is like a miniature trip to Izmir.
Muggy but bearable here. I wish the ceiling fans didn't mess with your pipe; they really become necessary in the summer time here.
You mean to tell me Prince Albert didn't use the can AT ALL during World War II? Holy crap! That's what I call intestinal fortitude!
Puffing up some CH in a MM Pride, no coffee tonight
Was probably all due to food rationing, let alone tobacco.
Maybe there was a surplus of cheese, so he had lots of time to wait
Finished up Classic Burley Kake in a DGE Chunky Elegancy, moving on to McC 5100 in the Squatch volcano.
Do you suppose that's why the pipe reamer was invented?
5100 is very good. Probably my favorite Virginia. Red Cake =
They might have called it the Royal Evacuation Plan at that time
You're the guy! Seeing 5100 next to your avatar made the connection for me. It was mostly your posts about smoking 5100 that got me to go buy some. Thanks! Really like this stuff.
Listening to baseball talk on the XM, working, and thanks to FishnBanjo, I'm smoking Anniversary Kake in a smooth 1979 Chippendale (Charatan second) Rhodesian 49. More ice water to drink.
I swear I didn't do it
ooooooh, that's good stuff!!!~ Got some of that one time at the Tinderbox in Charleston, SC. Very good stuff! Simple but elegant & excellent w. some sweet tea!
H&H Dark Fired in a cob~ & a glass of sweet tea~
