Phillies are on in ten minutes against the Marlins. Going to try to listen on MLB.COM here at work. Problem is, it cuts out a lot. The other downside is I can't figure out how to have the game on without a pipe in hand! I guess I'll just have to imagine I'm smoking what you are smoking. Just wish you were drinking something better (think 80-proof)!

I'm smoking a house blend i acquired from a local tobacconist called Wesley's, it is best described as No.25 Black cherry "maraschino cherry" is the superb aroma of this tobacco, which has a sweet natural satisfying flavor. Slightly stronger than medium, easy burning cube cut. And I'm smoking this one in my Angelo pipe. I must say its rather good for a free sample tobacco

I wouldn't mind drinking some whiskey, but the Saint Bernard has the keys to the cabinet and gets stubborn about sharing sometimes. Well, I work most of the time anyway, so I don't have much time to drink. Smoking is another subject, of course. That I can do with ease!

Still warm for early winter here but a cold front should hit us within the next few days. Spent the day fishing some trout ponds. It was slow. Now it's GLP Montgomery in a Pete.

I got a new Sherlock Holmes "Hopkins" for a nice price on the 'Bay. After reaming out the cake tar (seriously, it was used for some really STICKY aros) and putting it through a couple salt & alcohol treatments I have myself a very nice canted, bent poker. I re-christened it with some G&H Rum Flake.

Walkabout went well I smoked one of the 3 Fritz Becker pipes I own with Dunhill Deluxe Navy Rolls then came home with a happy Levi. Quick shower and I was off to my appointment at the VA Clinic where I smoked Davidoff Flake Medallions in the Tsuge Tankard in the SL500 jamming with tunes. After my appointment I loaded my sorry self back in the SL500 and loaded the Tsuge Tankard with some Naked Anni and blasted up the tunes and took it on home where I am sipping a nice cuppa Jamaican Blue Mountain, black.

Braves beat the Pirates 5-0. The Pirates were no-hit until 2 outs in the 8th. Marlins and Phillies are tied 1-1 in the 7th, and the Yankees are ahead of the Indians 6-4 in the seventh. I'm smoking Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 1982 black sandblasted paneled slight bend Savinelli flat bottom sitter. A bottle of Sprite is my drink.

Such nice weather here in dirty jersey. On the porch, in the shade with some Escudo in a Country Gent. I'm waiting for the sun to go down so I can fire up the Radice.
    Meatloaf night!

Afternoon. Beck's Ol' Limey Bastard in a Savinelli Capri Root Briar 512. Bit of coffee on the side.

Raining like the dickens here. The skies are pouring forth a great deluge, but luckily for me, I have a roof over my head. In times like these, it's a great thing to have a good screened in porch. The thunder is so constant it nearly sounds like fighter jets.

I found a bag of some English smelling tobacco that I kinda remember buying while in San Francisco in Feb. I've no idea what it is and I smoked a half bowl in my Jobey earlier.
