Home from work now. Dinner's done. I'm in the garage, smoking an experimental blend. I mixed one part burley to one part latakia. I think it needs adjustment, but is showing some potential. My pipe is a Suffolk silver banded straight briar pot. I'm drinking a Bundaberg Ginger Beer. Right now, I'm three pages behind on this thread. So, it's catch-up for me. Good evening everyone!

Evening, folks. Kendal Flake in a cob once again.

Muggy and buggy here in Alabama. I'll probably stop doing weather updates now, because it would just be "muggy and buggy" every single day until about the end of September. I really wish all my family wasn't here, because I'll miss them when I get the hell out of this place.

He's one of a kind. You should check out "the Occurrence at Owl Creek", if you haven't already.

I'm thinking PS LNF in the 2013 Kaywoodie PSF POY for my next smoke.

Smoked a bowl of ASTB in an Orlik apple as a thunderstorm came rolling in. Cooled things down a bit cause it sho has been humid and hot. Scored some Stonehaven earlier. I'm going to leave it unopened for a bit and display it like a trophy above my computer. Been chasing that one for awhile.

I've had a couple cigars today...nothing fancy, a candela AyC Grenadier, a La Aurora Leonino Corojito (short panatela/very petite corona), and a Parodi King....oddly, I haven't smoked my pipe yet today that I can remember! Until now - C&D Odessa in the Astas billiard. This is a great blend, one of my favorite latakia blends. I love it when the weather warms up and my taste for latakia comes back a bit. I don't understand how everyone prefers the stuff during cold weather, I like it best when it's hot or at least warm.

:shead:I like my vintage Omega, great little pipe, the look of a Pete for the price of a pizza.
Yours has a nicer finish then mine, but who knows what's under those years of goo on mine

Spent a week back east with virtually no phone or internet. It's easier these days deciding what pipes to bring with me, 3 BST, 3 Petersons and 3 IMP meerschaums. If there was any ugly weather about, Berg kindly kept it on his side of the river. It was nice, humid and sunny so out came every aromatic that's been accumulated over the years in that house. Evenings with the screen door being all that separated me from the lake sounds, loon calls and other soul repairing music that nature in the absence of man provides. Painter Hills or Princes Street in whatever pipe was close to hand but the BST Compact Little Brute waved at me more often than not.
Back west now and enjoying Prairie Wind in a Peterson 80s. 23C(73F)H31%
