Kinda quiet a round here.
Third mug after 1/2 bowl of Penzance in the 1917 Dunhill Shell Group 1, first day I am ambulating w/o the assist of a mobile ambulatory device, even the stairs are in fear!
CH in the MM Spool,Morning all.
Got the Dremel out at 5am, been sanding some walking sticks need to be done. Gas station opens 6am, got heating oil. Ate tacos from last night. Stained sticks. Smoked Dunhill Flake in a MM Dip......... what else can I do at 8am before the house wakes up ?
I am interested in this too. I smoke quite a bit of Plumcake and have an open tin and one or two unopened in my "cellar". I have thought about purchasing the bulk, but wouldn't want to buy a pound and be disappointed.
I finished the SWR and thinking about firing up some Blackwoods flake while errand running. Oh yeah, more coffee
PS LTF and coffee
Good morning PSF. Getting ready to meet up with friends at sunday BBQ. Packed the bag with a couple of cobs and a Pete 9s, some VAs and the smokey GL Pease Blackpoint. Have a nice sunday everyone - see ya later.
Starting Saturday morning with two briars of Irish Oak and tea. Concerning the MB Plum Kake: I don't buy anything in bulk. Never has the full taste of the tin version. Made that mistake with EMP. Never again!
Rainy day here in Maine, so I guess I'll just have to spend the day inside smoking Got some Butternut Burleigh going in the Pete System right now and some rubbed out Happy Brown Bogie drying on the cutting board (found out it is impossible to keep lit if you don't dry it first, then it smokes great). I'm sure there will be some Irish Oak, OKJ, Squadron Leader and later on some Billy Budd as the day progresses. Enjoy everyone!
I've said it before but it's bears repeating. If you like Plum Cake and have Anniversary Kake in your cellar try loading 2/3 of your pipe with Plum Cake and top the last 1/3 with Anniversary Kake, you won't be sorry you tried it, it rounds out both to a sublime smoke. No, no thanks needed it's what we do.
Headed to the Farmer's Market here shortly and try to get a walkabout in if the storms cooperate.
Good morning, McClelland St. James Woods in a DrG, coffee and sunshine on the side.
Walnut in a lightly blasted no-name full bent.
Then I'll be sitting on the front porch with a bowl of something else in another pipe waiting for a guy to show up to talk about vinyl siding.
Boswell's Rum River in a Nording Point Clear freehand with the morning coffee.
oh yeah, thanks for reminding - almost forgot to take that one.
Exotique mixture in a Shell LB
PS Black Currant Cav in a Mr. Brog with coffee on the side. I promised I would clean the gutters and garage today. I should have started with a bigger pipe to stall longer.
Gotta love those hours when the house is asleep and your mind can be at peace with a smooth bowl and your thoughts!
MB Mixture in a Grabow this morning. Rain has become a great excuse for me to do nothing today!
Firedance Flake in a briar churchwarden.
