Good Morning All! Under strict orders not to smoke anything "stinky" before Mass so I'm loading up a bowl of McB's Vanilla Flake in my GBD Prince. Hope everybody has a great Sunday!

Had some Sweet Kilarney in the Pete System this morning, then a drive-time bowl of OJK in the POY. Got home, hit it with a pipe cleaner and have now fired up a bowl of suitably dried Happy Brown Bogie (hi Capt'n N!).

Taking a break from the shop to have a bowl of Founding Fathers in my Poker with some Maxwell House. This one should have some nice straight grain, may have to go with a contrasting stain to make it pop! It's so good to be young! (at least in the mind)

Just a few lively puffs on AoTM in the MM Diplomat and set it aside for later. The walkabout went well the packing job I did on the Tsuge was less than satisfactory, can't fault the pipe it's been flawless for over 200 bowls now, sigh..... Double Cuban Espresso to wind down.

Prince Albert in a Parker bent bulldog, that I had pretty much given up on. Cake building up in the heel is finally taking care of a high draft hole, which I thought I was never going to be able to deal with. I've come to almost prefer that a pipe have a channel at the bottom of the heel, dug down into the cake. I took care to form the same in another briar, and in my "hard use" cob, and it seems to work wonders. I still would have preferred the maker drill it properly, but not all hope is lost.

    Morning, fellows.

Got started early today, so I've already smoked Bayou Morning in a Ser Jacopo and Dark Flake scented in a cob (x2).

McClellands Old Dark English in a no-name briar. Starting to smoke more bulk tobaccos over tinned ones. Keeping tinned ones for special treats.

Good morning again everyone. It's almost noon. For me it's Gawith Hogarths Dark Flake (Scented) in my Yves St. Claude Fantaisie.
