Some 5110 in a sandblasted Brigham half bent billiard, which I've just discovered I've been packing wrong (despite the size of the pipe the actual bowl is smaller than most) and enjoying a rainy sunset.

Evening PSF. After a couple of days away from the pipe, the need for a bowl of GH Brown Flake Scented could not be denied - smoking it in the Pietenpauw billiard I have dedicated to "traditional English" blends. I'd like to say that I am not addicted - that I can quit whenever I want...............but I'd be lying.

Just finished some Peterson's Irish Flake in my Dr. Grabow "Belvedere".
Now I get to give the cats their pills.
    Three cats, one pill each.
After I've staunched the resulting wounds I will relax with some Gawith, Hoggarth & Co. Louisiana Perique Flake in a pipe to be determined.

Just finished up a few left over bowls (CBK in a WH Canadian, and some OGS in a London Tower Sandblasted Prince). Now Im about to light up some Half and Half in a Dr. Grabow Grand Duke (1/8th bent, dublin/prince type of thing...similar to the Riviera)...

The storms mostly passed by us, and we just received torrential downpour all night. Tonight after getting home from work, I'm left looking at 3 partial bowls from last night. Might take a puff or two off of CH in Legend, Bourbon Riffsky in rock cob, and few puffs on this heel of LNF, then dump them all out. What will be next?

14 hour work day today, and I have to be up at 4am to head to St. Louis.

The A's beat the Yankees 3-2 in 18. The Orioles and Red Sox are tied 4-4 in the 10th. I'm smoking Best Brown #2 in a 2013 bent MM Missouri Pride Legend. Ice water chilled to the proper temperature is my drink. More work to do tonight, but at least Suzy and Molly are still sleeping off a big dinner.

Paretti's Cambridge Flake in the Medico Apple. This flake has all the regular suspects of a Balkin. There is no perique in it and the Va is sweet but has a bit more tang to it than I like. It's a little thicker than most flakes and it's a broken flake. I rub it out fully and then mix it with an equal amount of pure lat. I can still taste the sweetness and just a little sour tang but its so much smoother and deeper flavored. There is some Xanthi mixed in it and considering all the turkish and orientals in it, it needs to be sipped slowly to enjoy there flavor. 1-2 matches burns it to the very bottom. It could stand maybe 60-70% lat. As it is it gives me a little nic hit that it didn't have before adding the lat. Good stuff!

Now that the remnants pouch is down to merely the size of a prize steer, I reckon this can be the last bowl of it today. Doing the honors with the PSF POY 2013.
