Agree. Top of the bowl the flavor is not really there. Adding a topping layer is probably the answer.

GH Louisiana Flake in a MM General. There's a little KK in the bottom to let me know when I'm almost done.

After a couple of light smoking days, back at it today. Started with CH, then Bull Run, now back to CH. All three MM cobs.

I agree with every part of that statement. Thanks Doug! And thanks, Simmo, for stating it so succinctly.

Oh my God, an infinity of mirrors! If you look really, really close, I get smaller and smaller until I'm only the size of quarks and bosons.

It took a few minutes to decide on a tobacco to smoke, but I just fired up a bowl of Louisiana Red in a 2003 black grain etched Karl Erik Ekstravagant horn. And ice tea.

I received a nice little care package from Biggles today. I was very happy when I opened it up to find all of this.

Not the book, that's already mine.

It still being MMM I decided to try some Carter Hall for the first time ever I loaded it into my Meer.

Smoking Kendal Kentucky in a small bowled straight rusticated Peterson. This is only my third bowl and its quickly growing on me. I liked it after the first bowl but it wasn't love at first bowl. I'm beginning to see why it has a following. The shag cut is interesting. Haven't smoked a shag cut since I tried hand rolling cigarettes. Nice a amount of vitamin N as well.

My first ever bowl of Pirate Kake. Initial impression? This stuff is the smoke of the gods. I'm enamored. My fiancee's thoughts? I got an "Ick." and the sliding glass door got closed on me :byg:
