I am enjoying my first ever Penzance experience in a small Viking Meerschaum with an Old Speckled Hen beer and enjoying a beautiful almost perfect spring like day ...

    At the rainbow's end, LOL.

Seriously, I was fortunate enough to purchase an 8oz. bag from The Briary -Homewood, AL last week.

Don't make me start talking about Wurstfest... the countdown has already begun to the first weekend in November. :bing:

Today has been beautiful! Walked Canyon Lake Dam w/the family, the wife cooked a killer Greek style lunch, and then I sat out on the back deck, smoking a bowl of Peter Heinrich's Special Curly in my Apelt while the boys played.

You Know, that disgusting stuff is not any good till at least a month after you get it.
As a service I have set up special ageing containers especially designed by myself to insure proper ageing . If you will send me all your Penzance I will take good care of it as it ages. At the end of whatever time you choose to age this, I will at my expense ship it right back to you, minus 2 (two) ounces for my services.

Mr. Moo's house as far as I can tell.

Man, I love that place! My wife ordered my first pipe from Skip, and we've visited in person once. Awesome B&M.

This reminds me (just a little) of the people who promise to take care of pets after the rapture... for a small fee of course.

Speaking of such, have you ever tried Park-Lane's Knightsbridge? I'm thinking of ordering a couple oz's after I get my poor ole s.s. check in april.

YAPPG, While I do appreciate your very kind offer, I already plan to age some myself. However, if you wish to send me some of your special ageing containers I may agree to send them back with Penzance in them after a long while. ;-)

No, but I have smoked Esoterica Margate, and I like it. Not Penzance, but much easier to find, and very good (IMO).

Thanks for saving me the heartache of
    1) finding it
    2) spending me money on it

but if i run across a batch of new stuff i will send it your way

then you can try it out for me and save me the disappointment of premature smoking

when the tobacco is fully matured i am sure there won't be much left to send back so that will save me postage in the end

    :toast:

Wurstfest is in my hometown of New Braunfels, TX. It's a 10 salute to sausage, but of course, the German beer, polka music and bar maid outfits make it a party. :bing:
