    Good Morning,

A Berg Family Breakfast this morning, pancakes and bacon. And some Rum Flake in my favorite Radice to help the bacon cook.

Woke up to feed Suzy and Molly who were so hungry they didn't even think of being finicky. I wasn't either. I had a hankering for Steven Books First Smoke of the Day in a medium bend straight grain 2000 Winslow C silver spigot, and I acted upon it! Thanks to FlatbushPaul for the tobacco.

I would really like to have some black pudding and eggs as well but this shall suffice.
Any Poles in here that share my love of kiszka?

    Heading out to smoke
Kickin Chicken from an anonymous benefactor in a MM.

Woke up around normal time. Let Teddi outside while brewing Twinnings Irish Breakfast tea. Doing readings with two pipes of Walnut, first in a mm cob then one in old briar. Now onto Pete's Luxury Blend in new Pete' 2013 St. Patrick's day pipe (model 304). That's my celebration of St. Pat's Day. Oh yeah, remembered to let Teddi back in!

Kicking off Saint Patricks Day with some Old Dublin in my 2012 Peterson Saint Patricks Day Canadian.

Then it will be Blind Sample #3.

Blind Sample #2 was an incredible smoke and made my TAD List very easily. It was Samuel Gawith CHOCOLATE FLAKE

You know how most of us have a jar of leftovers mixed up. Well back in '07 a customer came into the shop and we got to talking of such things and he says his is in a 5gallon bucket and offers to bring me a "sample" if I'm interested. So I says sure free tobacco is always good.

Well his " sample" weighed in at about a pound and a half, I smoked a little and jarred up the rest. The plastic bag he delivered it had " everyman II" written on it, probably had pipes in it before but that's what I decided to call it.

This morning I decided to revisit it so I started the day with
Everyman II in a cob. Not bad stuff...good thing too given how much I have on hand.

Now it's walnut in a bent falcon, as always lots of black coffee watching the sun peaking through a few clouds.

St. Patrick's Day is starting with some Newminster SNF in this year's holiday pipe, the B35 Antique Zulu shape - and a fine start it is!
