It's most likely too young. Xmas Cheer doesn't get "nice" for a few years.

Alas, I did not get to a second bowl yesterday, so today will start with some 5100 Red Cake in the Peterson St Patrick's '13 Poker (B58)

I'm totally blown away by the way this smokes, it puts all my favorite cobs to shame! I'm considering finding out if he has any black bamboo for shanks and commissioning a 2 knuckle straight shank with amber fishtail bit. That will put the cob collection on hold with me smoking one a week rather than daily, should keep them alive for many more years.

Woke up to feed the kittens who were happy to have Friskies chicken and tuna fillets. I sure like it when they aren't finicky. I should have gone back to bed , but I had the craving for a smoke. I thought I'd try an experiment this time. I took a pipe that I had smoked a few bowls of Old Companion in, and did not ream the bow,l and am smoking MacBaren London Blend in a tan etched medium bend 2001 Rinaldo Sahara 2. I can taste a little of OC in the pipe. I was wondering if I would, and curious as to how prominent the previous tobacco would make itself known. And if I'd like the combination, which I do. But I think I prefer the mixtures on their own. So much for my adventurous first pipe of the morning!
