Been sipping on a tall bent MM General full of H&H Rolando's Own while puttering around the yard. We started out a bit rainy, but the sun has come out for a few hours.

2nd day with Dan's Treasures of Ireland Limerick. Smoking it now in my freshly cleaned Jan Pipes poker. There are some similarities to HV, with a little more sweetness and a touch of spice. It's pretty good stuff!

I can't decide either to crack open one of my new 6 tins US tobaccos I've never tried, or to open an also new-for-me S.G. tin, Best Brown or St.James Flake... or just keep on smoking one of my 27 opened tobaccos.

Last nights snow was turning to slush as it started sleeting this morning, but we made a trip into town
to pay the monthly mortgage were in the last year of a 25 year'er :bdance:
Filled the Denmark 88 pipe with [IMG]
and gave it a char light then fit the wind cap and put it in my pocket to smoke around town
    [IMG]
It was wet and windy up town but it worked just fine :bing: I don't know much about the pipe :cfsd:
as it was a blind trade for one of my Whetstone's
    [IMG]
made in Denmark and 88, is this the date of manufacture ? or the maker :msty: to me anybody any ideas
    [IMG]
the windcap came in handy as we didn't hang about and the pipe went back in the pocket to drive to the village, to post some parcels, where it got a quick broddle and toped up before a re-light as we walked over to the Co-op for some Westons 8% Cider - the Bar at Wicker Villas Never Shuts

Afternoon gents. Having Beck's Ol' Limey Bastard in a Savinelli. Having some Café Santo Domingo, which my sister brought back from the Dominican Republic, on the side for my after lunch coffee. This is the first day of my spring break from classes, and while I won't be spending any time on beaches full of naked girls, I'll be enjoying the down time with no classes. I swear, I sound like I'm getting old.

68˚F (20˚C), 70% RH. Overcast. Severe thunderstorms predicted for this afternoon. Great smoking on the porch weather!

I burned a couple of half bowls of Esoterica Dorchester (thank you Spill) in my brand spanking new DGE nosewarmer. Both were fan-freakin-tastic!! :thu2:

I brewed it in a pour-over cone filter, so it's a drip, but not a drip machine. That's how I like to do my coffee because I can control the temperature of the water better and it just generally makes better coffee. I'd love to get an espresso machine one day.

The coffee is extremely tasty. I'm sad that she only brought back half a pound. I could drink it every day.
