A little Penzance in the Stanwell at the end of the night watching Leno on the tube.

Don't know if it's the BST Christmas pipe full of Irish Flake and 1792 or the Scotch I've been indulging in, but DWaugh's latest has given me a stitch from laughing. Good night all.

Smoking some of Tewksbury & Co's Hobbits Weed in my brand new Missouri Pride with a Church Warden Forever Walker stem. Loving this whole CW thing. So relaxing.

Back from vacation. Had some nice cigars in Vegas and also cracked a tin of Mac baren plum cake. It has really grown on me. Just had another bowl in a jobey bent Rhodesian. I'm still spooked about smoking any Lat blends in my nice pipes. I should get over that...

I'm relaxing on the back porch, watching it rain, listening to some classical musical, sipping on some cognac, smoking some English Luxury in my country gentlemen cob. Life is really good to me at the moment.

3 lighters and a few dozen matches later, almost finished with my sample of 1792 , in the La Reserva briar again.

Wise precaution IMHO. I got a Latakia ghost in one of my good pipes a while back, and it wouldn't leave after dozens of smokes. Fortunately a thorough ream and thin coat of isopropyl inside bowl and shank fixed everything. Smoked better than new after that.

That said, I've never gotten a Latakia ghost from Plumcake. All the MB classics seem pretty well behaved in that regard.

As I get ready to head out the door, I'm loading up the meer-lined Dr. Grabow with a flke of Erinmore, for the ride to work.

OK, that settles it! Next up: one flake of Erinmore in a small sandblast Canadian.

    Good Morning,

20F and deceptively heavy snow. It's coming down in tiny flakes, and looks like dust, but it's landing heavily on the warm ground and turning into a dense mess. Danny, my apologies again for removing the plow:)

I smoked a Doug Erwin cob full of Dark Flake on the way to work, and wandered around the parking lot finishing it, and appreciating how pretty the snow is in the moonlight.

Woke up to feed Suzy and Molly, who enjoyed the Friskies Beef Fillets. Another morning of no finicky eating. I could get used to this!! As for me, I had a craving for Mushrooms, so I took a Shortcut to it in my trusty ol' straight 1979 MM Legend. Amazing how many years of smoking I've gotten from a 99 cent cob!! :puffy: Thanks to FlatbushPaul for the fungi!

That's some pricey weed, but the "baked in flavor of herbs and spices" in the description sounds intriguing. Do you give it the thumbs up?
