Wave when you drive past the Lakeshore!
Woke up to feed Suzy and Molly, who were happy to eat and eat and eat! I lit up a bowl of Shortcut to Mushrooms (thanks FlatbushPaul) in a straight 1979 MM Legend. I'm nearly done with it and can't decide what to smoke next. Edgeworth Slices? Edward G. Robinson? Dark Horse? Old Companion? I may flip a coin or two to decide.
Ch in a grab bag cob, filling a DGE with GLP Westminster.
Been downtown since 6:45, just haven't had time to post. Was 30˚F this morning, colder than I expected.
Been smoking Classic Burley Kake in the Refbjerg. This stuff is so great when you're in the mood for it. Tastes of brown sugar; reminds me of a tobacco that someone's grandpa would have smoked. But a tough, wood-chopping grandpa though.
Erinmore Flake in the Rekamepip Rock Cob. Great combo!
I decided on the current Three Nuns tinned version, so then I had figure out what pipe to smoke it in. I choose a long neglected, but a great smoking very early Ascorti straight New Dear KS billiard with a carved shank. It's one of my best smokers and I ought to use it more than I do. Ice tea on the side. Lunch in my near future.
McClelland #24 in a BST Virginia Incinerator.
This one is for Sidney.
Hastings Old Town Sweet Shop and Tobacconist's Napolean Mixture in a Parker. That place needs to get a catchier name.
Just sampled some Peter Stokkebye Black Truffle that came with 17 other packs from different blenders I got in a grab bag buy. Closest thing to a dessert smoke I ever had, tasty and flavorful in my Rolf Baginski Poker Chip Stack with bamboo inlays.
GL Pease Laurel Heights in a Benton Big Ben with coffee.
About 30 seconds away from relighting that bowl of EMP.
Sorry, Mayor, it just
does time travel. I'm
still working on a climate
GH BCF (again) in a Bantam.
Lunch in my belly, time for dessert...
Second day with Hamborger Veermaster in a bent Neerup. I love that second day, same pipe taste!
Did cross your palm with silver
No, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn last night.
Reiner LGF in a Northern Briars billiard at the B&M. The Briary is the best shop in the world.
::paging Dr. Waugh:: Excuse me David, but can you tell me what the hell this thing is? It's on this cool old antique table in the smoking lounge here at The Briary, but I have no idea what it's for.
Wondering if it's a tobacco press!
