I'm under instruction from SWMBO to report to PSF that this tobacco smells like chocolate croissants baking in the oven. She approves.

It roused her out of bed yesterday morning, wondering what in the hell was happening. After all, Yours Truly isn't exactly the kitchen magician.

Surprisingly she's wasn't disappointed to find no chocolate croissants. Rather she just stood there inhaling the fragrance. Amazing given her usual chilly reaction to my tobacco choices.

Ah, ok. I've been through Fort Wayne a bunch, but I never knew it was such a Mecca for tobacconists. The Briary doesn't stock THAT much McC, but I'm not a McC fan, so that's ok. They stock Stokkebye flakes, Mac B bulk, Fairmorn, and quite a few others, and the tins are widely varied, with a lot of Pease stuff. I found a few tins of Telegraph Hill from '06 in there recently.

God it's early. Quarter til six. Smoking Ol' Limey Bastard in a Savinelli because it's chilly out and I want a stout smoke with my coffee. Morning all.

Greek language is very rich and sometimes very difficult to learn it correct. Each word has a specific "meaning",in english one word can "describe" dozens. There are 4 styles of Greeks [forget the 5th it's a slang],you will understand better the 4th the simple-every day via translator from a good site,so you will need a computer my friend. :)

Someday I will have the elusive 3 Nuns. (If only they would stop running so fast...)

Sun is shinning, the coffee is hot and it promises to be above freezing again today. All things lined up for me to get over my fear of opening tins.
Popped the lid on a tin of Frog Morton and loaded my leather wrapped Jeantet Bulldog that my daughter brought me from her trip to Paris last year.

I wish they would stock others besides McC but they said they just can't stock what doesn't sell. (Plus none of the owners like anything at all by SG or GH and told me it was all goopy crap) They've had everything there in stock over the years but as you can imagine most old timers seem to stick to their favorite blends and just buy a pound at a time when they manage to stop in.
