Good morning, HAPPY EASTER!
OGS in an OT
PSLNF, ina MM CG. Coffee splashed with H&H, in the traditional large brown mug. I'm taking Erinmore to smoke after work. At work I'll try to finish off the Tinder Box Chocolate Treat. TGIF! Good Friday Too. Have a good one PSFers!
Back when I commuted back and forth to Toronto I would listen to coast to coast from 4:30am-6:00am at which time they would switch to regular programing. Interesting stuff at times.
Luxury Navy Flake in the Vauen Wave, little to dark for pictures still so will throw this in for some Holiday Friday Motivation instead.
It's another Middleton's Walnut morning.
Happy Friday friends!
cheers for the radio link listening to A View from Space at the moment (bookmarked)
St Bruno in an Astleys ...
The fumes of St Bruno have roused old Bev. I'm channeling him now ...
"Death holds no worries, good people of PSF. There's plenty of St Bruno, both up there AND down here. So don't worry too much about whether you've been naughty or nice."
"Also, don't believe the stuff you read about the acrid stink of sulfur in Hades. Old Nic's been using a Corona for years now. He wouldn't even dream of employing a Lucifer."
Wilderness, in a blasted bulldog.
TGIFS, CH. PK, CC!
Translation (if needed): Thank God It's Friday Smoke, Carter Hall, Peter Kent, Community Coffee!
Have a smokin' Friday everyone!
Good Morning PSF,
On this Good Friday I'm starting my day with Compton's Commonweal in an Ascorti Signature Full Bent Egg with my black coffee.
Peterson's Perfect Plug in a Royal Danish canadian
Good Morning! 2nd day on vacation here.
EMP in a Falcon. As soon as I get coffee in hand I am heading to the garage to start up the day. I am just looking for a quick morning smoke.
....like we needed another picture of Wickerman! OT
Good Friday, fellows.
Kendal Kentucky in a Ser Jacopo maxima maxima. The previous owner of this pipe was obviously a clencher. That must be why he got rid of this monster. I know this will make Berg smile, but I think I'll get a softy bit to cover this mangled button.
Well thanks to the Cheap English blends thread now heading out into a Sunshine filled day with some NewMinster English Luxus loaded into my favorite pipe the LL Bean
Dunhill Light Flake in a DH Diplomat. Wishing all of you a relaxing Friday to wind down the week.
The DLF is certainly a good smoke but a little disappointing. I jarred it up in 2007 and cracked it open this morning hoping to have my socks blown off. The flakes were promising: nice and dark, with some crystallization and a heady wine-like aroma. Once lit, it was insanely smooth. Almost too smooth to be noticed.
I think I prefer the fresh DLF. It has that sort of buttery cinnamon toast thing going on, which seems to be missing from the aged version. In my book it can't match aged OGS, which is also smooth but has tons of flavor and spice.
Or maybe my taste buds are just fried from the earlier bowl of St Bruno.
CH in my diplomat and a coffee to start off the day.
Started this beautiful Friday morning with a recently neglected tin of London Mixture. Followed that up with Peterson Irish Whiskey Blend. Tea on the side, of course.
Yer WhT ? Eh !
On my second bowl of the morning, SWR in a MM Washington cob and a cup of coffee.
Have a Holy Friday everyone.
