I wonder how many people read through this thread, and through it's predecessor, and pick up as much information as there is here.
So much to learn from these little notes. ... If I try this, be patient and let it dry a little first... or... Ah ha, he's smoking this again and I know he smokes something else that I like so perhaps I ought to check it out this since I might like it to.... What a great thread.

It's working out quite nice, especially considering the minimal investment, I would recommend these to anyone seeking the most bang for their buck.
I've been pretty much exclusively smoking Prince Albert in my Ozark Hardwood lately, but my pouch is starting to run low so I might bust out the Golden Extra soon.

Picked up a drum of Captain Black Gold Label, after going a week without any pipe tobacco.
Decided I'd try Prince Albert tobacco, for $2.50 a pouch it was a cheap deal.
After smoking it though, I think its dust bin material.
Taste is like stale cigarettes to me.
Another break with tradition -- my first bowl today is CH in a cob, a lucite Forever-stemmed Great Dane spool. I had CH in a Diplomat after dinner last night -- it's not even funny, how good that was.
