Dunhill London Mixture in my GBD Bulldog.
Peterson's Irish Oak in a Brebbia meer lined Ebonite churchwarden...
Sir Walter Raleigh, coffee and a cob!
Back out to the ranch today to finish up the grasslands stuff. Same pipes, same bacchy, same views. Enjoy your Thursday people, I will try to enjoy mine:
Huffing more La Bermeuse Semois, this time in a Baki. Drinking Oolong alongside.
Reiner's Long Golden Flake in a Ser Ja Capo chased with a Monster Energy Mean Mocha.
Walnut Flake in an ugly old Morta, it doesn't look too clever but I love the smoking qualities, so light too. Filter coffee and Snow Patrol before venturing out into the downpour that is here called a drought.
Irish Flake in an MDP.
SAA...WEET! Nice set-up.
A half bowl of Dark Flake in the dedicated sav..wish i had time for a full bowl but c'est la vie. Tonight i think i am going to run some of this through a cob that has seen it all to see what a non dedicated pipe does to it.
G.L. Pease Stratford in the Johs bulldog. I was wanting to try something new, and apart from Luxury Bullseye Flake I didn't have much experience with Virginia blends with a significant level of perique (it's hard for me to consider something a va/per blend if I can't taste any perique....like LNF)
So far I like it! The perique is light enough for it to not be overwhelming to me but to still add a special something to the mix.
The bottom of the tin is labelled 022610, so assuming it's the canning date, the 2+years of aging couldn't have hurt it, either
+1 I love that pipe!
Enjoying, once more, Mac Baren HH Highland Blend in the Kapet. After a few smokes of this stuff, I'm pretty sold on it being a good blend. Often I'm intrigued by latakia/aromatic crossovers at first, but they lose their magic. But really....I think this works. Time will tell
Highland Sliced in a meer... smoky, sweet and salty, the bacon of pipe tobaccos.
Someone bombed me with some tobaccos, trying the first one now. 3 year old Blockade Runner in a Boswell poker. Very nice stuff so far, a virginia plug with a dark rum topping
SWR in a DG Royalton Bulldog.
Sutliff Divinci and C&D Pirate Kake in a Aristocob today while out and about.
A view to die for.
PA in my MM Cobb. Preparing for a final.
Debating between Hal O' The Wynd or Telegraph Hill or both. Maybe I will try to have time (or load smaller bowls) and smoke both, but which one 1st? lol
Either way, my Sav KS is lined up and ready to be packed.
