I'm now enjoying an Earl Grey tea with a bowl of McClelland Red Cake in a DrG Royalton Pot; this is a fantastic way to enjoy a Virginia tobacco!

Whew, finally back from a longer than expected week. Woke up late, having some Shean blend in a Pete 220.
Shean is a employee at Fox's in London, I picked it up when I was there a few months ago, this is his brew, I like it much!

Best Burley (local shop blend) in a DGE mod-cob early am in the field. A fine way to start the day.

Home now, packing up some Pete's Irish Flake in a Tinsky kit-pipe and heading into the "wood shop"(lmao = shed).

Got some baby back ribs smokin' on the weber, the lawn mowed and trimmed ( also trimmed the lawn of the elderly lady next door whose hubby is in the hospital), side dishes for dinner are prepped and ready for the grill, a glass of Cain's Dark Mild in glass, a bottle of '05 Betz La Serenne syrah decanting, and Savinelli bent filled with Escudo. Oh, and a couple flakes of Best Brown drying for my after dinner smoke in a Sas.

    Gorgeous day today in Chi-town.

Maybe just sniffing the tin without lighting it up for a couple of days will have to do. Coughing up a lung isn't normally part of the enjoyment part of smoking a pipe.

    Peterson's Summertime 2011 in a Peterson 80s ( Bent Bulldog for the non-Peterson folks).
Campari and soda on lots of ice.

Good day Gentlemen, smoking CH in my Peterson Aran. I keep telling myself that I need to try some 'real tobaccos' but..but... Carter Hall is just so... reliable. She may not be the prettiest, but gosh darn if she isn't always there for me.

Haddock in a Squatch. The girls are outside beating hell out of a kickball with wiffle ball bat. I'm cleaning the house in preparation of Momma's return tomorrow afternoon.
